Delush Polish Downtown Abbey Collection Swatches and Review

Collage

I have another new brand on the blog today!  Delush Polish!  Her store will officially open on March 14th!

I was sent 3 of  the 12 polishes that is a part of the very first collection released by Delush Polish – The Downtown A-List Collection, which is based on the show Downtown Abbey!

Let’s take a look!

Forever Young:

Forever Young

Forever Young is a pretty sheer milky white base with iridescent square and hex glitter, pale aqua hex glitters and red heart glitter mixed in.  I used 1 coat over OPI Don’t Touch My Tutu.  I did need to fish around a bit to get the hearts out, but I find that to be fairly normal in mini bottles.  This polish is really pretty whether you get the hearts out or not to be honest!

*Inspired by Matthew Crawley*

Matthew was taken from the show unexpectedly but will be forever remembered. He not only stole Mary’s heart but he also stole ours with his sincerity and his down to earth nature. Forever Young features a beautiful creamy white base with iridescent shimmer and floating red hearts ♥

Lady Sybiling:

Lady Sybiling

Lady Sybiling is a frosty green base with blue, gold, and silver holo glitters in various shapes mixed in.  I used 2 coats for this photo and a glossy top coat!

*Inspired by Lady Sybil Crawley*

Sybil is the youngest Crawley sibling, (see what I did there ;) she is passionate and strong willed who early on displayed her desire to break free from the social restrictions her status had bestowed upon her, so much so that she eventually fell in love with an Irishman and moved to Ireland!

The Loyal Mrs. Bates:

The Loyal Mrs. Bates

The Loyal Mrs. Bates is my favorite of the 3!  The Loyal Mrs. Bates is a gorgeous glitter top coat that has small holo glitters scattered throughout!  Mixed into the holo glitter is white, lavender, gold and aqua glitters.  I used 1 coat of The Loyal Mrs. Bates over Sinful Colors Sweet Tooth!

*Inspired Anna Bates*

Now this is the kind of woman every man would want! Anna is loyal by default as both a head housemaid and the newly married Mrs. Bates. This polish reflects the good that she likes to see in everyone and her sympathetic nature.

I was pleased with all 3 of these polishes!  I can’t wait to see the remaining 9 from this collection!  The polish scent was a little strong, but it didn’t bother me that much.  It was just a little stronger than other polishes I’ve used.  Application was good and I really enjoyed swatching these and checking out a new brand!

When I opened my package from Delush Polish, I pulled this card out with the polishes and I thought this was so cute!  It’s a scratcher!

Scratcher

On one side it has the brand name and all 4 social media links to follow, on the other side there is a heart that you scratch off to see if you won!  Sadly, I did not win – but at the same time since this is a review package, I think it’s for the best that I didn’t win.  Gives more chances to those who purchased!

You can purchase Delush Polish starting March 14th!

A Full Size bottle (15ml) will sell for $8.95
