Glam Polish is switching things up a bit this year and is releasing a Collector’s Series inspired by the Movie/Musical Grease! This series will be called Rydell High Collector’s Series. Glam Polish will be releasing 3 shades in January (which I will be showing you today!), another 3 in February and then 3 more in March.
All shades released for the Rydell High Collector’s Series will be Limited Edition.
Lets take a look!
Summer Nights is a stunning bright blue scattered holographic with micro flakes. This is a rich and beautiful blue! I used 2 coats for this photo and a glossy top coat. Don’t worry, I wore this for quite awhile too and it did not stain my nails.
Hopelessly Devoted is my favorite of the 3! This is a neon coral scattered holographic with micro flakes. I used 2 coats for this photo and I love how bright it is!
Look At Me I’m Sandra Dee
I had a lot of trouble photographing this shade. It’s actually more of a neon purple – so in person it is much brighter with more of a pink tone than what is shown in the photo. I usually say to refer to the more natural lighting photos for color reference, but in this case, refer to the bottom 2 photos (under artificial lighting) for a more accurate look at the color. Look At Me I’m Sandra Dee is a neon purple with a scattered holo and micro flakes. I used 2 coats for this photo!
This. Set. Is. GORGEOUS. First of all, I love Grease. I watched that video tape (no dvd’s at my house back then!) over and over and over. I listened to the soundtrack constantly – so to now have a nail polish collection themed after it? OMG. I had no application issues with any of these shades, and all were opaque in 2 coats. The colors are vibrant and so beautiful!
Price: $10.95 Each
Where To Buy: Glam Polish Website
Availability: All 3 of these shades are now available for pre order through the Glam Polish Website only at this time, and shipping is to Australia and the US. At a later time, they may be releasing to some of the Glam Polish Stockists for international fans. The official release date for the January collector’s series shades is January 30th and all pre-orders will be shipped by this date.
Be sure to keep an eye on the Glam Polish Facebook for more details regarding stocking as well as future releases.
The next set for the Rydell High Collector Series will be available later in February, and I will have swatches of those, so stay tuned!

Remember when I posted those gorgeous Too Fancy Lacquer shades a few weeks ago? Well today I have 2 more equally stunning polishes to show you!
Too Fancy Lacquer was a new indie brand to me not too long ago, but their stunning creations have made them move way up on my “must have indies” list!
Blue Willow is a silvery blue ultra holographic polish. I used 2 coats for this photo and top coat. Absolutely brilliant linear holo is visible even in dimmer lighting.
Orchid of 2014
Most people by now have heard that Radiant Orchid is the 2014 Pantone Color of the Year, and since the announcement I have seen several shades come out for it. Orchid of 2014 is a soft orchid linear holographic shade. Very pretty and very feminine. I used 2 coats for this photo and a top coat.
Both of these shades by Too Fancy Lacquer are gorgeous. Blue Willow stood out the most to me because I love ultra holos. I had no application issues and achieved full opacity in just 2 coats for both shades. The use of a fast dry top coat didn’t dull the holo either.
Price: Blue Willow is $12.00 and Orchid of 2014 is $10.00
Where To Buy: These are now available for Pre-Order on the Too Fancy Lacquer Site. Pre Order will close on February 2nd – so get those orders in!
So what did you think? Judging by the last Too Fancy Lacquer restock, it would seem a lot loved her polishes (she sold out in minutes!). Are you going to be pre ordering any of her creations? You won’t regret it!

I love discovering new indie brands, especially when they have gorgeous shades to choose from!
I have 7 shades from La Bella Vernice to show you tonight – so get ready!
Vineyard is a gorgeous vibrant purple creme with an aqua shimmer throughout. I used 3 thin coats for this photo. This whole review would have been up a few days ago, but I wanted to wear this a bit longer, so it halted all other swatching!
When The Stars Go Blue
When The Stars Go Blue is another eye catching shade! This one is a multi chrome that shifts from navy blue to purple to green. It also has holographic micro glitter mixed in which gives off gorgeous sparks of color. I used 3 thin coats for this photo. The holographic glitter is a little chunky, so 2 coats of top coat is best for this polish to smooth it all out.
Rachel is a hot fuchsia creme base with holographic micro glitters mixed in. Much like When The Stars Go Blue, the micro glitters are chunkier, so 2 coats of top coat are best for a smooth finish. I used 2 coats of Rachel for this photo.
Harvest is a beautiful duochrome that shifts from red to orange. I used 3 thin coats for this photo. Light brush strokes are visible in application, but the polish itself is stunning.
Sh!tty Smitty is a vibrant sea foam green with a subtle linear holo. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Birthday Girl is the top coat in the collection! Birthday Girl is a neon mixture of hexes and squares in yellow, pink, red and blue. I used just 1 coat over Sh!tty Smitty. I got amazing glitter distribution within Birthday Girl.
What a pretty assortment of polishes! Vineyard and When Stars Go Blue were 2 of my favorites, but they are all gorgeous. I had no application issues with any of the shades to report and am very pleased with La Bella Vernice overall!
Price: Most polishes in the La Bella Vernice Shop start at $4.50 and go up to $10.00

Happy Saturday! Things have been so hectic around here that I am trying to play a little catchup on reviews!
Today I will be showing you a Wrinkle Remover product I was sent to review. I’ve been using it about 3 weeks now and I do see some improvement – but I do think that I need to test it a little longer to see more results. But, I will share with you what I’ve experienced so far!
Star Cream is a wrinkle remover that comes in a really nice applicator. Why is it called Star Cream? Well I’ll show you in just a minute!
Once removed from the box, you see a nice black tube that is pretty simple and standard.
When you remove the lid, you get a 3 ball applicator inside to apply the product.
The instructions for Star Cream were pretty simple – every morning and night apply after you cleanse your skin and apply toner, use the 3 ball applicator to apply Star Cream in your “star zone” on your face, which is the forehead, eye, mouth, chin, and smile line area. All of the areas really prone to fine lines and wrinkles.
Here is a chart the company provided:
I followed the instructions for Star Cream Wrinkle Remover and the most noticeable affected area for me was around the eyes. It was very easy to use and the 3 ball applicator acted as a massager, which was kind of nice on my face. I didn’t have any reaction to the product at all.
I don’t have much to complain about, a few fine lines and a little puffiness. This photo was taken before I started using Star Cream about 3 weeks ago.
Sorry for the change in lighting, but as you can see some of the fine lines are reduced. Both photos were taken without makeup on.
Star Cream Features
Contains 6% of Chitin Liquid which is effective for hydration, wrinkle improvement and add elasticity, so that concentrate on taking care of sensitive and damaged skin
KFDA Tested materials Adenosine, Botox peptide (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8), oat extract Beta-Glucan concentrates in providing nourishment around tired eye area.
It is anti-aging cream to smooth out skin texture and contains various vitamin ingredients that brighten skin tone as well.
Trehalose endures moisture of the skin which helps sustaining long lasting hydration.
With brightening and wrinkle improvement function, it not only cares fine wrinkles of the skin but improves skin tone as well.
I actually liked this product and can see a very small improvement in a very short period of time. It’s a very straight forward product, easy to use and the price is very reasonable. After applying Star Cream Wrinkle Remover I was able to put on my normal face cream and makeup. I have fairly sensitive skin – but Star Cream did not irritate it or cause a bad reaction. If I continue to see improvement, I will definitely continue to use it and repurchase it in the future.

I’m 31 years old, so things like wrinkle care and overall skin issues are something I focus on more now than I use to. When I find something that works, I will hold onto it for dear life! Don’t worry, I’ll continue to use Star Cream and will do a follow up post in another month or 2 and let you know if it continued to work or not!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I have 5 of the LUSH Valentine’s Day items to share with you today, and I have to say – this is an amazing assortment that is sure to please!
Love Locket is the special Bath Bomb for Valentine’s Day! This baby is HUGE and actually is enough for 3 uses. You can break this bath bomb in half, plus the yellow center is another bath bomb all on its own! The outside layer is speckled with paper hearts that will float out to the surface of the pink water, and the hidden center releases a smattering of shiny red agar seaweed hearts to create a spectacular bath time display.
The scent of Love Locket is a blend of vanilla, jasmine and neroli essential oils to make this a relaxing and sensual bath bomb.
Here is another photo to show the size of Love Locket! It’s huge and I LOVE it!

Neon Love Soap is another new offering for 2014! This is a gorgeous pink soap with white heart shapes within it (my heart got cut off a bit!). A new perfume was blended for this bar, and includes citrusy bergamot, rosewood and spicy cinnamon leaf oil. Definitely a different scent and if I hadn’t read the description, I would not have been able to full identify the scents within. This is a great unisex soap scent.

Prince Charming Shower Gel
A new shower gel?! YES! I have to stock up on more of Prince Charming because I absolutely love this scent. Why does it have to be limited edition?
Fresh pomegranate juice and grapefruit oil cleanse the skin while their bright, energetic scents help wake you up on early mornings. Add to that a blend of Fair Trade vanilla pod infusion, skin-softening marshmallow root and almond oil, and you’re in for royally soft, moisturized skin all over.
Prince Charming isn’t an overly sweet smelling shower gel. It has sweeter notes, but the fruity notes give it a slight edge that helps balance it.

Tender Is The Night is made with vanilla absolute, jasmine absolute and ylang ylang oil. This sensual shea and murumuru butter bar is made with an aeration technique that allows the butters to melt easily onto skin for a smooth, tender massage. The scent of this is amazing, I need a matching perfume for it. It’s very light and delicate.

The Kiss Lip Balm gives your lips a hint of color (think a ‘my lips but better’ shade) with a touch of gloss for a moist pout. The Kiss is vegan and preservative free! The whipped buttery base of Fair Trade shea and cupuacu melt on to soften and hydrate lips while almond and organic mandarin oils bring lip-smacking flavor. This has a sweet smell to it and it tastes slightly sweet as well! The Kiss also contains guarana seed powder, which is a natural lip plumper!
