I have a new to me brand on the blog today to share with you! Wrenn Nail Polish sent 4 of their lovely shades over for me to try out, and I’ll say now, I don’t know why I hadn’t heard of them sooner!

Wrenn Nail Polish reached out to me and asked me if I was interested in working with them, I definitely was and she sent 4 shades to review. I received 2 shimmers, a linear holographic and a chrome finish.

All of their nail polishes are inspired by their druzy stones (they also have jewelry in their shop with gorgeous druzy stones!)

Let’s jump right in and take a look.

Happy Thoughts

Wrenn Polish Happy Thoughts is a greyed out purple linear ultra holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Easily my top pick of the 4. I love a good holo!

Passionfruit Pink

Passionfruit Pink is a mauve creme base with intense gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Peritwinkle

Peritwinkle is a medium periwinkle blue base with intense pink shimmer. This shade is on the sheer side and I did need 3 coats for these photos, but in brighter light you can still some visible nail line.

Magnum

Magnum is a steel blue chrome polish. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Because of the nature of chrome polishes, this does have visible brush strokes. I used 2 coats and no top coat for these photos.

Wrenn Nail Polish Overview

All 4 of these shades and nice, easy formulas to work with, especially Happy Thoughts! The only things worth mentioning as far as issues go were that Magnum had visible brush strokes and Peritwinkle was on the sheer side. Otherwise, everything was really nicely done. My favorite was Happy Thoughts. I love a nice, strong holographic.

Price: $12.00 – $15.00 Each

This brand is new to me also, but I am definitely going to have keep tabs on them. Each color looks appealing, especially Passionfruit Pink. That one stole the show for me.

New brand? I like all the shades except the metallic blue. It’s a bit too streaky for my tastes.
