Happy Tuesday! I’m hoping to get all 4 planned posts up today – but it depends on time frames. I’m all ready for work but I have some time to kill before dropping Jacob off at school and heading into work, so first post is going up! We’re going to be looking at the Vapid Lacquer April 2022 release, which is a simple 2 polish release, Wendigo and Medusa!.

Vapid Lacquer decided to keep it small this month, so we have 2 polishes – but there will also be 10 scent choices for Bath & Body products which will include body cream, sugar scrub, nail sauce and a full restock of bath bombs.

Release date is on April 23rd. Keep an eye on the Vapicorns Facebook group for a full restock list including what scents are coming – both new and old.

Ready to take a look?

Vapid Lacquer | Wendigo

Wendigo is a dusty, deep blurple jelly base with medium to large red to orange to gold to green shifting flakes, as well as silver reflective glitter. I used 2 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

With thin coats, I did not feel the need to use a glitter smoother. If you use thicker coats or want more depth though – you would most likely need a glitter smoother and top coat, or 2 coats of top coat to smooth.

Vapid Lacquer | Medusa

Medusa is a semi sheer murky teal jelly base with magenta to purple to blue to gold to green shifting flakes as well as silver reflective glitters mixed in. I used 2 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Much like Wendigo, in 2 thin coats I do not feel I needed a glitter smoother. If you do thicker coats or more coats for depth – you may need glitter smooth and top coat or 2 coats of top coat.

Both of these shades have jelly bases that are slightly on the sheerer side, but the flakes help build up the opacity. I generally do 3 thin coats for swatches, but I only needed 2 for these ones.

You’ll be able to snag these and a bunch of bath and body scents during this release, keep an eye on the Vapicorns group the week of release for more in depth info on bath & body goodies.

Release Date: April 23rd, time TBA
