Alright everyone, my eyes are super tired, but I’m pushing through. So I’d like to thank Starbucks and their Venti Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino with 2 shots of espresso blended in for making this post possible.
Tonight I have the Vapid Lacquer October 2017 Releases to share. Most of these will debut at The Indie Shop, but one in particular will be a TiS VIP Bag exclusive and will NOT be releasing on the Vapid Lacquer site, and it will not be available for actual purchase at the event. The remaining will be available at some point in the Vapid Lacquer shop. Please see availability under each polish description. At this point there is nothing set as to what the Vapid Lacquer shop will be stocking when these release as far as other goodies, so keep an eye on the Vapicorns Facebook Group for future info.
We are going to kick off this post with The Indie Shop VIP Exclusive shade and then move onto the rest of the October beauties. Please keep in mind that I’m half asleep, so if I make a typo I will fix it in the morning.
Vapid Lacquer Devilish
Devilish is the Vapid Lacquer The Indie Shop VIP Bag Exclusive shade and will not be available again.
Devilish is a deep red and it has a subtle shift from a berry red to fire red and in some lighting you get a flash of gold shimmer. The base red laced with gold shimmer gives it a somewhat metallic like look and a gorgeous glowy appearance.
It’s deeper than the beloved Vapid Firestarter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos, but this was almost a 1 coater.
Vapid Lacquer Angels & Demons
Angels & Demons is my top pick from this release. This is a thermal that goes from a black crelly like base when cold to a soft taupish grey when warm. It’s packed with bronze to green to gold shifting shimmer flecks with sparks of magenta. There seems to be a very light sprinkling of scattered holo mixed in as well. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This will be available on the Vapid Lacquer site at a later date.
I will show Angels & Demons in it’s cold state first, followed by warm state.
Vapid Lacquer Balam
Balam is a gorgeous purple to berry red shifting shade with blue to violet shifting shimmer and an incredible fine scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Balam will be available in the Vapid shop at a later date.
Vapid Lacquer Seire
Seire is a medium grey crelly with shifting shimmer flecks that go from green to pink and some flashes of blue, as well as a scattered holo effect thrown in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Seire will be available in the Vapid Shop at a later date.
Vapid Lacquer Eligos
ELigos is the 5th and final shade I’ll be showing tonight! Eligos is a deep blue leaning teal crelly base packed with royal blue flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade will ONLY be available online during the October Vapid Shop launch.
Vapid Lacquer October 2017 Releases Overview
Another stunning Vapid release as usual! All 5 shades had beautiful application and flawless formulas.
I included release info for each individual polish underneath their descriptions, but all will be available online EXCEPT Devilish (the red) after The Indie Shop, so if you cannot attend (like me!) then don’t worry, you will have a chance at getting your hands on them. You will also be able to find remaining items from The Indie Shop on the site as well (such as waxes, bath & body, as well as polishes) but that depends on stock left over after the event.
As always, keep an eye on the Vapicorns Facebook Group for information as we get closer to The Indie Shop.
My top pick from this release: Angels & Demons
Prices & Release Date TBA. As usual, Krys will make an announcement with more release info soon in the Vapicorns Facebook Group so keep an eye out there for it.
Where To Buy: Vapid Lacquer Shop | The Indie Shop
Please also keep in mind I’m extremely tired, so if any information is incorrect on my part I will correct it asap.
