It is that time again… so I’m here to show you The Holo Hookup November 2017 Galaxy!
Guess what? This box marks 2 years since The Holo Hookup’s first collab box went out! Can you believe that? I made the introduction to the very first Holo Hookup Box on October 10th of 2015, and here we are 2 years later and it gets better and better each month.
This month’s theme is Galaxy and instead of 4 separate photos, the makers decided to use 1 image and they all drew inspiration from that image. Check out the inspiration below
As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!
This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. Each month there will also be one “guest” contributor, and for November 2017 the guest maker is Femme Fatale!
Let’s see what they have in store for us this month!
Cupcake Polish – Milky Way
Cupcake Polish Milky Way is a lavender leaning periwinkle creme based linear holographic. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Different Dimension – Comet
Different Dimension Comet is a deep navy blue jelly based linear holographic with blue to green color shifting shimmer, as well as small silver holographic shreds added in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow – Asteroid Belt
Glisten & Glow Asteroid Belt is a deep, blackened indigo jelly based linear holographic with copper shimmers and sparkly holographic microglitters added in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Femme Fetale – Exosphere
Femme Fetale Exosphere is a violet toned berry linear holographic with a strong turquoise sheen and scattered silver holographic microglitters added in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The Holo Hookup November 2017 Galaxy Overview
I have now been with The Holo Hookup since it launched, which makes this the 25th box I’ve shared. All 4 shades are in color families I personally adore plus they are Fall appropriate (and perfect for a Galaxy theme!) I had no application with any of these shades.
Happy 2 Years to The Holo Hookup, and I hope to be a part of many more to come!
