Normally I don’t do The Holo Hookup posts until the 14th, but I was given the go ahead to post it on the 12th this time around. So here’s a look at The Holo Hookup April 2016 Indie Collaboration Box!

The Holo Hookup Macro Collage Cover

If you haven’t heard about The Holo Hookup yet (which I’m sure most know about by now!), here is a little info about it – As the name suggests – this is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it –Glisten & GlowDIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. Each month there will also be one “guest” contributor, and for April 2016 the guest is Bliss Polish!

I was excited to see Bliss Polish in it, and this is actually my first Bliss Polish!

Each Holo Hookup Box has a theme – and April’s theme is Autism Awareness. The Holo Hookup is donating $4 from every box to the National Autism Association.

Autism impacts the normal development of the brain in the areas of social interaction, communication skills, and cognitive function. Individuals with autism typically have difficulties in verbal and non-verbal communication, social interactions, and leisure or play activities. Autism now affects 1 in 68 children, Autism greatly varies from person to person (no two people with autism are alike). If you want to find out more, check out the National Autism Awareness Fact Sheet.

Let’s take a closer look at each of the 4 shades.

THE HOLO HOOKUP APRIL 2016 INDIE COLLABORATION BOX

THE HOLO HOOKUP APRIL 2016 INDIE COLLABORATION BOX

This might just be my favorite Holo Hookup Box to date. I like the bright and dark polish mix in the box. When I first saw the DIFFERENT dimension shade I thought it was just another black holo, until I put it on and saw the blue flakes pop out. It’s really nicely done. I also like the Autism Awareness theme in this months box, and to see The Holo Hookup is donating some of the proceeds.

I love when makers come together and donate for a good cause Helena! I’ll be donating a portion since I received the box to review. It’s a beautiful thing when makers give back!
