Adovia Exfoliating Facial Sea Salts Review

Press Sample Tonight I have the Adovia Exfoliating Facial Sea Salts to show you.  I didn’t quite use it as a face scrub though!  While it was marketed as a face exfoliator, it was a bit too harsh for my skin, even when I mixed it with some cleanser to calm it down. Instead, I used it mixed in with various body washes and used as a body scrub.  If you self tan, or just have dry skin in general, the Adovia Exfoliating Facial Sea Salts are fantastic!  Just don’t use it on open cuts or anything, it is salt and it will sting. Here is what Adovia had to say about the highlights of their Facial Sea Salts: Experience a More Radiant, Clear and Beautiful Skin with At-Home Microdermabrasion Exfoliating Treatment 100% Pure Dead Sea Salts Specially Finely Ground for Facial Use Salts Infuse Skin with Dead Sea Minerals…

Adovia Mineral Eye Gel Review

Press Sample I have the horrible habit of staying up way later than I should, but even when I go to bed at a reasonable hour, I just lay there and cannot sleep!  This often leads to puffy, tired eyes in the morning.  This leads to packing on concealers and color correcters to try and make you look fresh and awake. Let’s face it though, when you didn’t sleep much, MORE work in the morning to cover up the fact is the last thing you want to do and takes more energy than you want to put into your routine! A month ago I received the Adovia Mineral Eye Gel and started using it immediately. Adovia Mineral Eye Gel claims to help reduce puffy eyes, fine lines and dark circles. After a month of use, I’ve noticed it seems to reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles, which is…

Adovia Mineral Lift Serum Review

Disclaimer When it comes to skin care items, products are generally either hit or miss.  So far, all of Adovia’s products have been hits with me.  Today’s review is no different. Adovia Mineral Lift Serum is a light gel that is formulated with natural ingredients to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by increasing your skin’s elasticity and firmness.  Adovia Mineral Lift Serum is a unique formula of orange extract, evening primrose oil, vitamins and dead sea minerals. It comes in a nice frosted glass bottle with a pump top applicator.  A little goes a long way, so I generally only need 3 pumps for my face and neck area. I have been using this for 2 weeks now, once in the morning and once at night.  My skin hasn’t freaked out, it feels smooth and it soaks in quickly without an oily residue.  While it is a…

Adovia Dead Sea Salt Soap Review

Disclaimer I’ve featured several Adovia products on my blog over the last few months, and so far, I have no complaints.  Their products work well for me and I love showing off their products. Today I will be showing the Adovia Dead Sea Salt Soap.  Adovia Dead Sea Salt Soap is infused with 100% Pure Dead Sea Salts that contain over 21 minerals that are great for skin health.   You can use this soap on your body as well as on your face.  It’s gentle, yet moisturizing and hydrating.  One thing that really surprised me though?  How long it lasted.  I used this as a body soap for 25 days and it’s maybe 1/4 gone.  Usually bar soaps are long gone by then for me. I’ve mainly used Adovia Dead Sea Salt Soap as a body soap since I am currently trying out a different face cleanser and I do…

Adovia Mineral Balsalm Conditioner Review

Disclaimer Recently I reviewed the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Shampoo and LOVED it!  Adovia also has a pretty amazing conditioner too that pairs incredibly well with the shampoo! Adovia’s Mineral Balsalm Conditioner is deeply hydrating and nourishing for your scalp and hair.  It helps reduce dandruff and dry scalp.  It is made with Pure Dead Sea Salt and Minerals, Chamomile, Vitamin E and Natural Aloe Vera. I have thicker wavy hair that generally behaves, but I do get dry scalp if I don’t use conditioner or Argan Oil regularly.  With Adovia Mineral Balsalm Conditioner I have noticed less flakes and my hair has been really manageable.  It has a nice “slip” to it and I am not getting as many little tangles throughout the day that I normally get. I do have to say though, I recently dyed my hair and stopped using this conditioner.  Not because I didn’t like…
