Press Sample of Red Eyed Lacquer | Mommy Moment & General Housewife

Happy Friday! I have a new-to-me brand on the blog tonight and we’ll be looking at 2 polishes releasing tomorrow (or today if you’re not on the West Coast.) We’ll be looking at Red Eyed Lacquer Mommy Moment & General Housewife!

One polish is for Mother’s Day and one is for May the 4th!

Both shades will be releasing tomorrow (May 4th) at 11am EST. See look at me… every so often I have swatches and a post done before launch. I’m actually still catching up from tax season – but I’m almost there.

Let’s jump in and take a gander at these two shades.

Red Eyed Lacquer | General Housewife

General Housewife is a collab shade created with Beth of HousewifeNails and it’s inspired by the bronze bikini worn by Princess Leia from Return of the Jedi.

General Housewife is a multichrome that shifts red to bronze to copper to gold with red to green to gold aurora shimmer and a light dusting of silver holo microglitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I know about “Mommy Moments” all too well. I’m also well versed in Momnesia.

Mommy Moment is a medium rose pink with pale blue shimmer and indigo micro flecks mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Due to the shimmer content – some brush strokes are visible.

Both of these had really good formulas – especially General Housewife. The consistency for both was perfect and easy to work with. General Housewife is my top pick of the 2. I love shifty multichromes and the light sprinkle of holo and aurora shimmer is a nice touch to the shade.

Price: $10.00 for Mommy Moment | $12.00 for General Housewife
