Here is the inspiration photo for this polish:

Let’s take a look at the polish!

Pretty Jelly Boysenberry Bay

Boysenberry Bay is a heavily red-toned medium purple jelly base packed with aqua to pink shifting shimmer, purple to blue to magenta multichrome flakies, and aqua shards. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Since the base of this polish is a jelly and there are a lot of flakes, you will most likely need 2 coats of top coat for a completely smooth finish. I used thick top coat (Girly Bits Glitter Glaze) and only need 1 coat. If you use a normal one similar to Seche Vite, then I recommend 2 coats.

Pretty Jelly Boysenberry Bay

Pretty Jelly Boysenberry Bay is pretty incredible. I only did 2 coats for my photos, but if you really don’t want any VNL showing, 3 will work beautifully. I love jelly based polishes and VNL doesn’t bother me so I stuck with 2 for my photos to show more flashes from the flakes. As I said though, the flakes do add a bit of texture, so you might need 2 coats of top coat for a completely smooth finish.

This shade is ONLY available for the month of August, so don’t miss out! Make sure you join the Fantasmic Flakies Facebook Group to grab this polish.
