Happy Holo-Ween III & October 2016 Duo

I have 2 sets to show you for Pahlish tonight, and these released yesterday! Here are my swatches and review of the Pahlish Happy Holo-Ween III & October 2016 Duo!

The October collection releasing is the Happy Holo-Ween III and along with this release, Pahlish will also be rereleasing past shades from Holo-Ween I and II as well if you missed any from previous years. So if there were any shades from the previous collection you had missed out on, be sure to check her shop just in case it made a reappearance!

The October Duo releasing this month is Fall Festival and it’s totally Fall, so if you are into Fall shades – you do need this duo.

Let’s jump right in. I’m actually sick again. Go me. I am still playing catchup from last month’s flu and as soon as I started to really make a dent, I came down with a cold/flu and it sucks. I’m miserable. Luckily I have a ton of swatches I completed so I can just lay in bed and type now.

Ok on with the swatches. We’ll start with the Holo-Ween III Collection

Holo-Ween III Collection

Candy Corn On The Cob

Candy Corn On The Cob is a bright red toned orange jelly with metallic pink shimmer and holographic flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Salted Licorice Snakes

Salted Licorice Snakes is my favorite of the collection! This is a charcoal scattered holographic with lots of teal to pink duochrome shimmery micro-flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Blue Raspberry Banshee

pahlish-blue-raspberry-banshee

Blue Raspberry Banshee is a bright blue raspberry linear holographic with blue and purple micro flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

In person this shade is a touch darker, closer to the shade in my macros than in the full hand shots.

Black Cat, Pointed Hat

pahlish-black-cat-pointed-hat

Black Cat, Pointed Hat is a rich purple jelly base with holographic flakes, purple to pink flakes and very subtle green shimmer. This is an incredibly pigmented jelly base and I only needed 2 coats for full opacity.

Now we have the October 2016 Duo – Fall Festival!

Scarves & Sweaters

pahlish-scarves-and-sweaters

Scarves & Sweaters is a vampy reddish brown jelly. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I love vampy, plump jellies like this. They look so juicy and amazing.

Crunchy Leaves

As with all duos Pahlish creates, this is the topper to go with the vampy, juicy base! Crunchy Leaves is a mix of red, purple, pink, copper, gold flakes with a subtle green shimmer. I used 1 coat over Scarves & Sweaters for this photo and it got really great coverage.

Pahlish Happy Holo-Ween III & October 2016 Duo Overview

pahlish-happy-holo-ween-iii-october-2016-duo

And there we have it – the Pahlish October 2016 releases! As usual, the quality was perfection and I had no application issues at all to mention. The jellies mostly needed 2 coats, but some like Black Cat, Pointed Hat was so rich in pigmentation that I only needed 2 coats. If you can only grab a couple, I recommend Salted Licorice Snakes, Strawberry Moon and the October Duo.

Prices: $10.00 Each for Holo-Ween III | $16.00 for October 2016 Duo
