Pahlish & Elevation Polish Limited Edition Venetian Duo Swatches & Review

by Lisa Heath

Press Sample

For the month of August Pahlish and Elevation Polish came together to create a limited edition duo: The Venetian Duo! You have probably already seen photos of this duo floating around, or even grabbed a set for yourself – but in case you haven’t Pahlish did a restock of this duo today and Elevation Polish will restock a limited quantity on August 22nd.

I briefly had a chance to meet both of the creators behind Pahlish and Elevation Polish at Cosmoprof NA (which is where I received this duo) and I wish I had had a little more time to mingle with them!

Let’s jump into this duo.

Elevation Polish The Merchant’s Son (Thermal)

The Venetian Duo The Merchant’s Son Thermal (Hot) Swatch

The Elevation Polish half of this duo is The Merchant’s Son which is a thermal polish. This is a turquoise creme with green shimmer in it’s warm phase and transitions to a beautiful medium teal with green shimmer while cold. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat. You can see several photos below of The Merchant’s Son in both hot, cold and in between stages.

The Pahlish half of the duo is The Wayfarer! The Wayfarer is a chrome flake top coat with very subtle silver shimmer in a clear base. I used 1 coat over Elevation Polish The Merchant’s Son and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Venetian Duo Overview

Cover

This is definitely a nicely done duo and a great collaboration between 2 fabulous indie makers. I’m a fan of thermals and love the transition between hot and cold with The Merchant’s Son, but the green shimmer really makes it stand out for me. Pahlish The Wayfarer is a great matchup to wear over The Merchant’s Son as well. I had no application issues with either shade.

Price: $22.00 For The Duo

I had to pick up the 16-part full collection of both brands when EvP restocked this Friday! And I have to express love once again for your new macro shot – I love getting all up in a polish’s grill!

Thank you <3 It took me a bit to angle lighting right so it wasn't glare city and now I think I've got it!

I’m a huge thermal fan and don’t think I have a turquoise to teal one, so I’m loving the addition to my collection!

Very pretty, especially together! Very unique to combine shimmers, thermals and chrome flakies!

I’ve been sitting on the fence about picking up this duo. I’m not really into thermals too much. Do you think you have any dupes for the EvP in your collection? Otherwise, I really like the Pahlish topper!

Offhand I don’t think I do. I saw this comment this morning and have been thinking on it all day and looked through my stash and can’t find one like it

Although it’s a gorgeous duo I think I’ll be passing on it. Your swatches though are killer as always!

Presented with limited edition labels that have a cute gondolier on the front with elevation and pahlish names on it. The gondolier represents marco polo’s beginning and end of his journey, Venice. You may notice that bloggers have the standard elevation polish logo on the front.
