New Emily de Molly at Color4Nails

Emily de Molly has several new shades out and Color4Nails sent them for review. I’ve been in love with Emily de Molly shades since I first saw the shade It’s Complicated.

The 9 shades I’m about to show you are all beautiful and with each one, I didn’t want to take it off and do another. This is pretty much a collection of some of my favorite shades all in one spot.

The Pretender

The Pretender is a bright purple creme with strong green to gold duochrome shimmer. I used 2 easy coats for these photos. I’m a purple fanatic so this one is easily a favorite from the 9 new shades.

Sintara

Sintara was a little difficult to photograph. This is a dark but vibrant blue base with very subtle hints of being a blurple in person and is laced with a strong dose of turquoise shimmer. As soon as I got Sintara under the lens though, that hint of blurple went away.

I used 2 easy coats and a top coat.

So Many Activities

So Many Activities is a bright mint creme with a subtle dusting of holo shimmer as well as color shifting flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

A Pawsitive Future

A Pawsitive Future is a vibrant light blue with gold shimmer and silver holographic hex glitters mixed in. I used 2 easy coats for these photos.

Boats ‘n Hoes

Boats ‘n Hoes is a bright turquoise creme with a subtle dusting of holographic shimmer and color shifting flakes. I used 2 coats and a top coat for these photos.

Fergi & Jesus

Fergi & Jesus is a light purple creme with a subtle holographic shimmer and color shifting flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Learned Doctors

Learned Doctors is a nice palette cleanser shade that has a bit of flare. This is a pale taupe creme with holographic shimmer and color shifting flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.

Shades of Black

Shades of Black is a dark purple crelly base packed with black and neon pink dots and micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Fancy Sauce

And finally we have Fancy Sauce! Fancy Sauce is a linear holographic topcoat with color shifting flakes mixed in. I did a few photos of Fancy Sauce on it’s own, then I layered it over The Pretender.

Alone is 3 coats and a top coat. On it’s own is just 1 coat over The Pretender

Overview

I was pretty happy with this selection of shades and they catered to my preferred colors with all the light blues, mints and purple. I had no application issues and all were pretty much fully opaque in 2 coats (aside from Fancy Sauce and Shades of Black)
