Dia de los Muertos Collection

I do happen to have a review to post tonight that I got done before launch! Go me. Hoping for that to happen more often now that I’ve gotten a ton of swatching done and set up. We’re looking at the Necessary Evil Polish Dia de los Muertos Collection!

The Necessary Evil Polish Dia de los Muertos Collection is the Day of the Dead collection, and it’s a 6 piece collection. Dia de los Muertos is a lively celebration of deceased ancestors which originated in Mexico, but is recognized and celebrated throughout many Latin-American countries.

My son is actually taking Spanish this year and they have been doing a huge Dia de los Muertos project in class, so he’s learning about it now.

Let’s jump right in. This collection launches October 31st – links will be at the bottom of the post.

Necessary Evil Polish | Calaveras

Calaveras is a black linear holographic. The holo is quite strong with this and a very tight linear holographic so you get a nice rainbow effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Necessary Evil Polish | Sugar Skulls

Sugar Skulls is a pale grey creme base with blue to green shifting shimmer, scattered holographic and pearl and ultra chrome chameleon micro flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Necessary Evil Polish | El Sol

El Sol is a red toned orange crelly base with pink to purple shifting shimmer and micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Necessary Evil Polish | Marigolds

Marigolds is a medium yellow creme with blue to green shimmer and a subtle scattered holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Necessary Evil Polish | Familia

Familia is a red toned plum creme with gold scattered holo and blue shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Necessary Evil Polish | Ofrenda

Ofrenda is a fuchsia purple creme with gold micro glitter, purple flecks and scattered holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Necessary Evil Polish Dia de los Muertos Collection

This is a beautiful collection and I love the selection of colors! I had no application issues with any of these shades.
