I am very excited about today’s posts (there will be 2) because I’m showing off the debut collection for Monarch Lacquer, which is the Emergence Collection!

To see this collection swatched on YouTube, be sure to head over to my channel below:

Okay so.. if you haven’t heard yet – the duo behind Fair Maiden Polish has decided that it’s time to start their own individual brands. Fair Maiden Polish will still be around with their sets (like Tinties and Pastel Neons) but there won’t be any new releases from Fair Maiden Polish directly. And no, this split will not effect Polish Pickup – they are still all in as a team on Polish Pickup.

Monarch Lacquer is Adrienne’s baby now (I will be sharing Sarah’s new brand this weekend!) and you can check out the Facebook Group for Monarch Lacquer as well. Trisha from The Polished Mage and I are admins there to help out.

The Monarch Lacquer Emergence Collection will be launching on June 8th at 10am CST. All photos shown are done using Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues peel off base, as well as Monarch Lacquer’s Quick Flutter Top Coat, which is a high gloss quick dry top coat.

When the site opens, you can take advantage of 10% discount by signing up for the Monarch Lacquer Newsletter.

Let’s jump on in and see this collection. I will have another post up with a Milk Bath series of polishes Adrienne will also be releasing.

Monarch Lacquer | Jewel Wing

Jewel Wing is my favorite of the collection. This is a rich plummy jelly base loaded with deep violet to blue to green to gold shifting larger particle shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Monarch Lacquer | Papillon Pearl

Papillon Pearl is a white jelly base with beautiful golden shimmer throughout. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Mild brush strokes are visible from the shimmer.

Monarch Lacquer | Petal Dancer

Petal Dancer is a delicate pink jelly base with strong violet shimmer, as well as pink to orange shifting iridescent flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade is intentionally on the sheerer side so it will not fully cover the nail line. However – it can also be used as a topper.

Monarch Lacquer | Fluttering Butterfly

Fluttering Butterfly is a medium red-violet jelly base with red to orange to gold shifting shimmer and holo microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade leans more on the sheerer side, so it is possible if you have strong VNL that it will show through.

Monarch Lacquer | Vintage Moth

Vintage Moth was a surprising favorite of mine from this release. This one has a pale yellow toned sandy jelly base with pink to green to gold shifting shimmer and gold reflective glitters. I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoothing base (for the reflective glitters) and top coat for these photos.

Monarch Lacquer | Luna Moon Dust

Luna Moon Dust is a medium blue jelly base with micro aurora shifting flakes that flash pink to green to gold, shifting shimmer in pink to green to gold, and pink reflective glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Monarch Lacquer | Emergence Collection

I once typed “this is a brand to watch for” back in November of 2014 when Fair Maiden Polish debuted.. and I can honestly say it again for Monarch Lacquer. I’m thrilled to be continuing on this adventure with both halves of Fair Maiden Polish and I cannot wait to see where they both go in their new ventures.

I will have the Milk Bath trio up shortly as well, which will also be debuting on June 8th.

For more swatches from this collection, keep an eye out for Trisha, Lola and Yulia!
