Lollipop Posse Lacquer is back with her Year Of Tarot series! We’ll spend the first few months of 2019 wrapping up this extended collection that is dedicated to honoring the many faces of the Tarot (both the Major and Minor Arcana). Today we’re looking at the first 3 shades releasing for the Lollipop Posse Lacquer February 2019 Year of Tarot Release.
What a way to kick off 2019! These are gorgeous! I do have a clear favorite of the 3.. but we’ll get into that in a bit. Let’s take a look at all 3 a little more.
Lollipop Posse Lacquer | The Sun
The Sun is a white crelly base packed with gold to green shifting aurora shimmer, as well as copper to red to gold to green shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Trust me when I say that no photo can truly capture how incredible this shade really is in person.
The Sun card radiates optimism and positivity! Shining bright in the sky, The Sun represents the source of all life on Earth, and when drawn upright, the card indicates success, radiance, and abundance. The Sun connects you to the base of your power; not fear-driven, egotistical power, but the abundant, inner energy radiating through you right now.
Lollipop Posse Lacquer | The Hanged Man
The Hanged Man is a greige scattered holographic base with red to green to gold shifting aurora shimmer and holographic microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The Hanged Man is a card that represents surrender when it is needed most. The Hanged man hangs by his foot, upside-down, representing a changed perspective of the world. His serene face indicates that he is in this position by choice. He reminds us that sometimes we must put life on hold before we can take the next step; you are called to release old mental models and behavioral patterns that no longer serve you, so that you can see situations from a different perspective. Something new is emerging, and you won’t be able to see it unless you allow the time and space for it to come through.

The Tower is a dusky Prussian blue scattered holographic with red to green to gold shifting aurora shimmer, as well as copper to green to gold shifting iridescent flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
When the Tower card appears in a Tarot reading, expect the unexpected – massive change, upheaval, destruction and chaos. There’s no escaping it. Change is here to tear things up, create chaos and destroy everything in its path (but trust me, it’s for your Highest Good). Just when you think you’re safe and comfortable, a Tower moment hits and throws you for a loop. A lightning bolt of clarity and insight cuts through the lies and illusions you have been telling yourself, and now the truth comes to light.

When I opened this package, I was pretty wow’d by the shifty shimmer and how it all looked in the bottle. Once I put it on though? No words. All 3 are gorgeous – but The Sun has my heart completely. In order of preference for me: The Sun, The Hanged Man, then The Tower.
The Sun is the most delicate of the group, and due to the deeper base – The Tower has more oomph with the shimmer. You really can’t go wrong with any of them though.
Personally I would love to see a few more with this shimmer in it. I wouldn’t mind a purple, a turquoise and maybe a deep gun metal grey shade.
