Little Box of Horrors November 2022 | Evil Dead / Ash vs Evil Dead

by Lisa Heath

Press Samples // Some Paid PR

Happy Friday! The shop opens today – so I’m here to show you some of the items I received for the Little Box of Horrors for November 2022 and the theme is Evil Dead / Ash vs Evil Dead!

I have 13 of this month’s offerings ready to share, but 2 of the items are permanent items within the Little Box of Horrors shop!

Okay so a little about Little Box of Horrors… This will be a bi-monthly collaboration shop that will consist of 25-35 makers. Each bi-monthly shop will have either a horror, sci-fi, thriller, supernatural, paranormal, or mystery like theme – and the products will then be inspired by that theme.

The shop opens on the 18th and will remain open until the 30th, so you have a decently long shopping window.

For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I did use a combination of the top coats including Sweet & Sour Lacquer and Vibrant Vinyls which was sent as PR. I purchased the Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues and the top coats were sent as pr or as gifts.

The November theme is Evil Dead/ Ash vs Evil Dead! Let’s jump in and take a look.

Black Dahlia Lacquer | The Cabin

Inspiration: The Cabin is inspired by the sunset-like shades created when the cabin is engulfed in flames.

Description: The Cabin is a plum crelly base that shifts from red to gold to copper, with red aurora flakes and red reflective glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Price: $12.75 | Cap: None

Glam Angel Cosmetics | Ashy Slashy Liquid Lip

Inspiration: Ash

Description: Ashy Slashy is a medium brown with an icy silverish/blue throughout.

This is a non sticky formula and glides on easily for application. I used 1 coat on the lip and got full coverage. It is not a matte or stay put type liquid lip, so after eating or drinking – you will most likely need to reapply.

Price: $11.00 | Cap: 25

Glam Angel Cosmetics | Demon Hunter Liquid Lip

Inspiration: Chainsaw-handed demon hunter Ash returns to action when Elk Grove is threatened by a deadite epidemic.

Description: Demon Hunter is a light maroon with pink undertones and very shiny with slight shimmer.

This is a non sticky formula and glides on easily for application. I used 1 coat on the lip and got full coverage. It is not a matte or stay put type liquid lip, so after eating or drinking – you will most likely need to reapply.

Price: $11.00 | Cap: 25

Lemming Lacquer | Let the Boomstick Do the Talkin’

Inspiration: Ash vs Evil Dead

Description: Let the Boomstick Do the Talkin’ is a black jelly base with fiery shimmer shifting red to copper to gold and holographic microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Price: $13.00 | Cap: 100

LynBDesigns | I’m Gonna Say A Lot of Dumb Things

Inspiration: Ash’s love of the color blue

Description: I’m Gonna Say A Lot Of Dumb Things is a cornflower blue jelly base with intense pink to orange to green shifting shimmer with added holo shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Price: $13.00 | Cap: None

Paradox Polish | Deadite

Inspiration: Ash vs Evil Dead and the Deadites

Description: Deadite is a glow in the dark topper with red to black shifting flakes, as well as red to gold iridescent flakes and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats alone and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This was created as a topper – but I love how it looks alone.

Price: $10.00 | Cap: None

Paradox Polish | Ectoplasm

Inspiration: Ghostly ectoplasm

Description: Ectoplasm is a yellow-green glow in the dark top coat. I used 2 coats alone for these photos.

This is a shop exclusive and I believe it will be available for awhile in LboH shop.

Price: $10.00 | Cap: None

Paradox Polish | The Fog

Inspiration: Northern California coastal fog

Description: The Fog is another glow in the dark shade – but it’s meant to use to sandwich over glitter toppers or stamping, or another more pigmented base to give a “fogged over” look. This has a foggy milky appearance and dries to a matte finish, and it glows red in the dark. I used 2 coats for these photos.

This shade is also a LboH exclusive shade.

Price: $10.00 | Cap: None

Paradox Polish | Give Me Some Sugar

Inspiration: Ash vs Evil Dead and the Army of Darkness

Description: Give Me Some Sugar is a blackish blue (cold) to faded blue clear (warm) with gold metallic, red and sapphire metallic flake, iridescent flake, and holo flake . I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Price: $13.00 | Cap: None

The Soapy Chef | Hail to the King, Baby! Resin Coated Shot Glass/ Water Marbling Cup

Inspiration: Inspired by Ash and all of his catchphrases

Description: Each cup will be different, but all feature a red holographic glitter base with Ash in his iconic chainsaw pose on the front in gold vinyl, on the back is “Hail to the King, Baby!” in gold vinyl

I actually use these cups as water slide decal cups, and I do have one from a previous shop dedicated to watermarbling. They are a perfect size and easy to clean up.

Price: $9.50 | Cap: 50

The Soapy Chef – Ashy Slashy Lotion Bar

Inspiration:  Inspired by Ash and all of his crazy catchphrases

Description: This delicious – smelling lotion bar is the perfect way to take care of yourself. It smells just like Ash would – like tobacco and vanilla! This bar will help nourish the skin and moisturize the dry areas without greasiness or stickiness.

Scent notes: tobacco, cinnamon, clove, tonka bean, tobacco flower, vanilla, dried fruits, woods

I am a HUGE bar lotion fan. Especially when using lotion on my legs after shaving and dry areas like feet, elbows and knees.

Instructions: Warm bar between hands and rub anywhere on the body. This bar is especially good for cuticles, dry elbows and heels.

Price: $7.00 | Cap: 60
