Oh my goodness, is the week over yet? It feels like it’s dragged on for ages. But I have had almost a post a day all week I think – so at least I’ve got that going. Tonight I have 17 items from the Hella Handmade Creations October 2022 shop to share!
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and Sweet & Sour Lacquer Gloss Sauce . I purchased the Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues, Sweet & Sour Lacquer gifted me their Gloss Sauce.
My lighting set up was changed recently. Sorry for the weird glare, especially on macros. Due to the quick change I didn’t have time to mess with them too much or I would fall behind. Toyia of a_painted_queen and I were chatting and she mentioned a lamp she was trying out, and I bought one… loved it and bought another one. The new lamps give a much truer to color photo but I need to reposition. So now, since I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my new set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
As for camera info… I simply use a Nikon L830 which is a discontinued camera I’ve had for … 8 years now? Not a bad $120 purchase.

Red Eyed Lacquer | Da Balm-er in Creme Pie
Theme: Weather
Description: Da Balm-er is a cross between a balm and body butter. It’s creamy like a body butter but has a more emollient feel like a balm would. It’s an intensive treatment you can use anywhere (I love it on cuticles of course) but a little goes a long way. If you use too much – it will feel very oily (like a balm would) so start with a little and build up if you need more.
Creme Pie is a mix of blackberry pie and creme brûlée. This is mildly sweet and the berries give it a sharp little kick.
