It’s time for another Valentine’s Day inspired collection – and today we’re looking at the Glisten & Glow Love Songs Trio & February 2020 Mystery Polish!
For this set we have a shimmery shade, a glitter crelly, a jelly and a flakie polish – so Jill pretty much covered all her bases. One is the February mystery shade – and last month I did the mystery in a separate post, but since it’s shown in the group and on the website, it’s not as hush hush as I thought it was – so I just threw it in with this release to save us all some time and clicking!
These are already available in the Glisten & Glow shop – so we’re just going to jump right in and take a closer look!
I do want to say that tax season has kicked up at work – and there’s been a lot of paper shuffling, so my hands are a bit drier than normal. I also have a paper cut – but I photoshopped it out… so if you see a weird blobbish shadowing – that’s just my amazing photoshop skill (I have almost no skill… in case that wasn’t clear) and apologies for that.
Anyways – on with the show!
Glisten & Glow | All My Life
I graduated Class of 2000 – and this song was played at every single dance from Sophomore year on. It was all over the radio too – so hard to forget it.
All My Life is a vibrant, warm purple creme base with pink to green aurora shifting shimmer, as well as a dash of holo flakes mixed in. I used 2 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow | Endless Love
I actually named this one in the Glisten & Glow Facebook Fan Group. Endless Love is a white based glitter crelly with red, dark pink and light purple glitters ranging from micro to medium sizes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow | I Will Always Love You
I was about 10 or 11 when this song came out, and my sister was obsessed with it. About 2 years after it came out, my sister got a karaoke machine for Christmas and it came with a music mix for it – and this song and Achy Breaky Heart were on it – and my step dad shook his head and asked my mom why they bought it – cause he knew those were the 2 songs he was about to hear her belting out, into a microphone, for a long time to come.
He wasn’t wrong.
I Will Always Love You is a vibrant pink leaning red jelly polish that almost leans into crelly territory with the opacity. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The final 2 photos show it with matte top coat – and I dinged the middle nail after applying matte top coat – and .. it didn’t matte the same, or for as long as the others – so it looks a bit.. shinier.
Glisten & Glow | Mystery Polish February 2020
Mystery Polish February 2020 is a grey crelly based multichrome shade with subtle shifts of purple to bronze to green with color shifting iridescent flakes in pink to orange to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow | Love Songs Trio & February 2020 Mystery Polish
These are all beautifully done – but my favorite is I Will Always Love You. It’s such a perfect shade and application was an absolute DREAM. It would also be perfect to use I Will Always Love You with an accent nail in Endless Love. They match so well!
Price: $8.50 – 10.00 Each | Full Trio: $25.50
