Hope everyone is having an amazing weekend. Nick and I have been relaxing while Jacob has been on his long weekend with his best friend in Rocklin! Today they came back out this way for a birthday party with their 3rd best friend, so they are off rollerskating and will be having a sleepover there tonight. I’ll be picking him up tomorrow after I’m off work. I miss the little guy (well, not “little”… he’s 5’9” now…) and it’s always difficult when he’s gone for longer periods of time. The cats are even looking for him. When I walk into a room they look up so hopeful… then realize it’s only me. Thanks girls. It’s not like I rescued you or anything.

So tonight I have 2 posts to do, the first one is the Geekish Glitter Lacquer & LynB Designs Ant-Man Collaboration!

This is a fun collaboration between the 2 brands, both of which I’ve worked with before and their polishes are really great application wise. We have 2 polishes from each brand.

Let’s take a look

It Just Sort of Happened

Before I get into this one, I do have to say I made a mistake. This is a thermal and I didn’t realize it, so I only have it in one transition. When I get a little time later I will update with corrected photos.

It Just Sort of Happened is a green leaning teal to light teal thermal base filled with holo micro flakes, and intense red to violet to blue shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

We Were Just Tiny

We Were Just Tiny is a warm, pale peach creme base with intense gold shimmer and purple to red to blue to gold ultrachrome chameleon shifting flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Somehow I got one large flake in my swatches (I’m talented like that) but I think it was a one off because I don’t see any others like that in the bottle. So please know, most flakes are much smaller than the one I managed to grab.

She Seems More Intense

She Seems More Intense is a mustard yellow jelly base with black matte microglitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

My photos make it appear a bit more orange than it is, the bottle shot is more accurate.

Walks Through Walls and Stuff

The final shade is Walks Through Walls and Stuff! This is a grey crelly base with red shimmer and dark red microglitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

There is a tiny bit of texture to this one from the microglitters, but 2 coats of a nice thicker top coat will smooth it completely.

Geekish Glitter Lacquer & LynB Designs Ant-Man Collaboration

The colors in this collab are a little different than a lot of the things releasing right now, which is a nice change of pace. I like the variety and finishes of the selection. It almost feels like they covered all the seasons in one shot, doesn’t it? Mustard yellow for Fall, grey for Winter, teal for Spring and peach for Summer.

I had no application issues with any of these shades
