Press Sample of the Emily de Molly
January 2019 Release

Finally doing a post that isn’t at 1am or some weird time. I’m trying to get back on a normal sleep schedule after a 9 day vacation, and it’s hard. I’ve been heading to bed around 3am and waking up around noon. But I’ve gotten a lot of swatching done during those late nights!

Today I’m sharing the Emily de Molly January 2019 Release!

There are 8 shades releasing this month, one of which is a limited one batch release. It’s a large batch, but still a limited one. I’ll note which it is under the swatches.

These will all be releasing on January 9th at 10am AEDT on the Australian site and January 8th at 6pm EST on the US and International site. Links to both sites will be at the bottom of the post, as usual.

Let’s take a look!

Emily de Molly | Birthday Project

Birthday Project is a medium blue crelly loaded with copper hex glitters in micro, small and medium sizes, and iridescent blue square and small hex glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is the Limited batch release. Again, it’s a large batch being made, but it is the limited one.

Emily de Molly | Heated Discussions

Heated Discussions is a dark red base with gold and pink shimmers, as well as an orange to red magnetic effect. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The red is a bit deeper in person.

Different Dimension | Leave It To Me

Leave It To Me is a warm purple base with pink to copper shimmer and metallic silver flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Emily de Molly | Midnight Mermaid

Midnight Mermaid is a deep blue base with strong green shimmer and iridescent blue flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Emily de Molly | Opposite Order

Opposite Order is a dusty, warm brown base with turquoise to purple foil shimmer. This is a more subdued shade and really nice for the cooler weather. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Emily de Molly | Revolving Door

Revolving Doors is one of my favorites! This is a dark brown holographic with copper flecks, copper micro glitters and a magnetic effect that shifts gold to copper. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Emily de Molly | Trips Abroad

Trips Abroad is a bright sunflower orange tinged yellow crelly base with iridescent flakes and gold micro glitters mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Emily de Molly | Vexed

Vexed is a pale pinkish brown linear holographic with green to pink foil type shimmer and silver micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glosy top coat for these photos.

In person it looks like a very pale rose gold with the base and shimmers mixed in.

Emily de Molly | January 2019 Release

Such a beautiful release! As usual, I love the mix of colors and finishes – but my favorites are Revolving Door, Vexed and Trips Abroad.

I had no issues with application, even with the shades that had lots of flakey goodness mixed in.

Price: $9.00 – $11.00 USD | $11.00 – $13.00 AUD
