ORLY Color Blast Limited Edition Elsa (Frozen) Collection Swatches & Review

Nothing To Disclose  Yesterday I walked into Walgreens for face powder and walked out with the ORLY Color Blast Elsa Collection (don’t worry… I remembered the face powder too!) but this is pretty much why I can’t walk into a drugstore period. The ORLY Color Blast Elsa Collection consists of 12 polishes and it is a limited edition collection.  The ORLY Color Blast bottles are smaller than normal sized ORLY shades.  You get .37 fl oz (11ml) instead of the normal .6 fl oz (18ml). Let’s take a look at the shades Ice-solated Ice-solated is a vibrant sky blue base with turquoise shimmer.  I used 3 thin coats for these photos.  The first 2 coats were slightly patchy, so it required 3 to even out. Coronation Ball Coronation Ball is a lavender and purple micro glitter polish that provides full coverage, but can also be put over another color.  I…

OPI Summer 2015 Brights Collection Swatches & Review

Press Sample I have a few OPI collections to show you in the coming week!  Some have already released and some will be releasing within the coming months.  Tonight I will be showing you the OPI Brights Collection. The OPI Brights Collection will be releasing this May and consists of 6 new OPI colors, plus 3 core essentials which were in the OPI Neons collection from last Summer (Life Gave Me Lemons, Hotter Than You Pink and Down To The Core-al) Let’s take a look at the 6 vivid shades! Can’t Hear Myself Pink Can’t Hear Myself Pink is a shimmering metallic pink.  This is a fairly sheer polish but did build up nicely in 3 coats.  Minor brush strokes are visible in application. I Sea You Wear OPI I Sea You Wear OPI is a shimmery, iridescent blue metallic.  In the bottle you can see a slight blue to…

Zoya Naturel Satins Collection Swatches & Review

Press Sample I’ve been playing a bit of catch up here, and I know you have all seen these around already from some absolutely fabulous bloggers, but I’ll throw mine into the mix now!  The Zoya Naturel Satins Collection is the first set of satin finish shades Zoya has offered. What is a satin finish?  Well, it’s basically a finish that is too glossy to be considered a matte and a little too matte to be a basic creme type finish, it’s smack dab in the middle of both of those finishes.  If you scroll to the bottom of Adventures In Acetone’s review, she did a nail closeup of all 3 finishes to show it! Let’s take a look! Ana I’m starting with Ana to basically get the one “dud” of the collection out of the way for me.  As far as color, I loved it.  It’s a nice light…

Valentine’s Day Mani Using Color Club & Crystalline Nail Veil

Press Sample Technically it’s still Valentine’s Day, so it’s hopefully not too late to throw this post in! I decided kind of last minute to do a pink mani for Valentine’s Day!  I just received a bunch of new Color Club goodies yesterday and while I had them on my desk staring at me, I thought “Eh, why not?!” I didn’t have time to do a full water marble manicure but I always love a good accent nail when time is a little more restrictive.  I grabbed my Crystalline Nail Veil from Color4Nails to get started (perfect time to test it on a water marble as well!) To start I painted my ring finger nail with Color Club Blank Canvas. Once the nail was painted I covered the surrounding skin with Crystalline Nail Veil to protect my skin and make for easy clean up. I did a very quick water…

SinfulColors Flirt With Hearts Valentine’s Day 2015 Partial Collection Swatches & Review

Press Sample It’s almost Valentine’s Day and you should see the SinfulColors Flirt With Heart display up at your local Rite Aid and other mass retailers!  This years Valentine’s Day display features reds and pinks (of course!) plus a bright purple and a teal. I have 4 of the shades to show you tonight, but you’ve already seen a few of them before from SinfulColors, but they are classic Valentine’s Day shades which made them a perfect fit. 24/7 First up we have 24/7 which has been in the SinfulColors lineup for quite some time!  This is a bright pink.  I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.  The first coat looked a little streaky and the second one still left a little bit of balding, but the third seemed to do the trick. Daredevil Daredevil had me drooling!  Hands down my favorite of the 4 I…
