Happy Sunday! It’s about 1 am and it’s one of those late nights, so I’m posting away. We’re going to look at the upcoming Bee’s Knees Lacquer What We Do In The Shadows 2 Collection …. and shortly to follow will be the mystery shades to go along with this release.

The Bee’s Knees Lacquer What We Do In The Shadows 2 Collection is an 8 piece set with a lot of shimmer involved. Half of the collection has Unicorn Pee, or UP Sibling pigment and it’s glorious. However – due to the UP resources… those shades are also capped.

These all will release for preorder from 2/25-2/28, so let’s jump in and take a look. I will also be doing a separate post for the What We Do In The Shadows 2 Mystery shades right after this, so take a look for that set.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Our Familiar

Our Familiar is a black cherry jelly base with strong copper to green to blue to purple shimmer packed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Twilight Style

Twilight Style is a sheer, smoky periwinkle base with gold to green shimmer, as well as black to blue to purple multichrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This can also be used as a topper.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Viva Atlantic City (Reflective Glitter)

Viva Atlantic City is a black to blue to purple multichrome base with red and silver reflective glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

If you want to see this one in motion – I do have it on my Instagram Channel

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | The Vampiric Council (Unicorn Pee)

The Vampiric Council is a black to red jelly based multichrome with red to green unicorn pee shimmer mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Capped at 400 Bottles

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | This F*cking Guy (Unicorn Pee Sibling)

This F*cking Guy is a black to red jelly based multichrome with green to blue sibling unicorn pee shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Capped at 400

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | 5 Spits For An Enemy (Unicorn Pee)

5 Spits For An Enemy is a black to blue to purple multichrome base with red to green unicorn pee shimmer mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Capped at 400

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Vampires Hate Waiting (Unicorn Pee Sibling)

Vampires Hate Waiting is a black to blue to purple multichrome base with green to blue sibling unicorn pee shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade has subtle shifts but is primarily blue. The shade of blue lightens and darkens and you see other colors at the edges, but to my eyes – the shifts aren’t as dramatic as some of the other shimmers in this release.

Capped at 400

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | He’s Left His Mark On My Heart (Magnetic & Unicorn Pee)

He’s Left His Mark On My Heart is dusty blue jelly base loaded with red to green unicorn pee shimmer, with icy blue magnetic pigment. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos, and only magnetized 2 of the 4 nails so you can see it both ways.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | What We Do In The Shadows 2 Collection

If you love shimmer or the allure of unicorn pee (original and sibling) pigments… this collection is perfection for that. I really loved the more dramatic shifts like This F*cking Guy and Our Familiar.. but I also adored He’s Left His Mark on My Heart… and the can’t miss reflective shade Viva Atlantic City.

There are 5 mysteries to accompany this collection and I will be posting that shortly, so take a look if you don’t mind the spoiler.

Price: $13.00 – $16.00 Each (UP and Sibling UP are $16)

Thanks again for the robust coverage!

Stunning collection. I usually don’t like UP and multichrome pigment together, seems like it just hides the pee. But This F*cking Guy is giving me pause!

Hi, is the Vampiric Council sibling or OGUP?

Lisa Heath February 24, 2022 - 11:35 pm

Ohh sorry about that – it’s OGUP, not sibling. I’ll fix my description.
