Four Year Collection

It’s been four years since Anchor & Heart started gracing us with her creations, and to celebrate – she made a quad set! In this post, we’re going to take a look at the Anchor & Heart Lacquer Four Year Collection!

These all released earlier this morning, so you can grab them now. I definitely have 2 favorites, but all 4 are beautifully done and perfect for spring!

Let’s jump right in.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer | Ironclad Shine Top Coat

All photos shown were topped off with this top coat. Ironclad Shine is Anchor & Heart’s new 5-FREE top coat, providing beautiful high shine gloss and long lasting durability.

This is not a quick dry top coat, so you will need some patience with it. I found that my nails were fully dry and ready to go around the 26 minute mark, but they do instruct you wait 30-60 minutes for it to fully set.

I find the consistency to be thicker, but not stringy thick. It spreads nicely without flooding into the cuticle area, and the rounded paddle brush applicator is ideal for my nail shape.

These are available in scented, half scent (toned down scent) as well as unscented. I received mine in Mermaid Cove. The official scent description is:

Limoncello, pineapple, mint, tropical flowers, sun drenched volcanic rock.

To me, it smells like a tropical citrusy drink with a touch of mint. It was very light, but pleasant and I mainly picked up the pineapple and a tiny bit of mint.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer | Cold Water & Sunshine 2.0

Cold Water & Sunshine 2.0 is my top pick. These minty/aqua shades just get me every time. This particular shade is an ode to the original, which debuted as a best seller in Anchor & Hearts very first collection 4 years ago.

Cold Water & Sunshine 2.0 is a minty aqua crelly base with turquoise metallic micro flakes, holographic microflakes and pink to green aurora shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Completely smooth application and the base was the perfect consistency.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer | Smile So Bright It Shines

Smile So Bright It Shines is a canary yellow crelly base with gold metallic micro flakes, orange to green aurora shimmer and orange to green iridescent flakes. This was inspired by the VIP Facebook group! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is a beautiful shade, but being more cool toned, the warm tones gave me a case of lobster fingers.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer | Pieces of My Heart

Pieces Of My Heart is my second favorite from this set. This was inspired by two of Anchor & Heart’s favorite things – the color purple and her customers.

Pieces of My Heart is a lavender crelly base with aqua to lavender aurora shimmer, blue to green iridescent flakes, holographic micro flakes and lilac and mint micro glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer | Glitter Dealer

Glitter Dealer was inspired by Anchor & Heart’s husband, who dubbed her a glitter dealer and has suproted her throughout this journey.

Glitter Dealer is a slightly muted fuchsia leaning pink crelly with pink to purple to green aurora shimmer, aqua to purple to pink iridescent flakes, as well as micro and small glitters in pink, purple, yellow and green. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer | Four Year Collection

First thing I have to mention – I was really impressed that although these are crellies, they all reached opacity for me in 2 coats. I don’t have opaque nails, so if you do – you might need another coat – but overall – most should be good in 2 medium coats like I was.

Application was perfect with all 4.

These are nice and pretty fab. Liking the yellow, not sure I would be able to pull it off!
