Happy Friday! Tonight I have the Polished Gamers Box for October 2025 to share, and the theme this month is Cozy Games!

So the basics… Polished Gamers Box used to be a monthly box, then it was a bi-monthly box, but now it’s moved into being a quarterly box. Basically each box is themed with some sort of gaming – might specifically be a game or it can be broader like board games or retro games or it could be a genre of games. The box is open from the 15th of the month until the 20th. Then it closes – totals are sent to makers and it can take about 3-4 weeks before shipping starts up since makers have to get their total sold to HQ to prep for shipping.
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I did Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased, also affiliate link). My nails are clear gel nails as well (Apres Gel X) so VNL doesn’t show much… but if you can see through my nail tip – your VNL will show through the polish.
My lighting set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link). I do use artificial lighting due to my day job and not being around much during daylight hours.

BCB Lacquers | Chew On That! 2.0
Inspiration: Resident Evil (Original Theme: Remastered: Horror Games – October 2023)
Description: Chew On That! 2.0 is a black(cold) to blue(warm) jelly based thermal with green/blue/purple glass flakes and purple/blue/green multichrome flakes.

Inspiration: Junimo Huts in the game Stardew Valley
Description: Raisin Fed is a cranberry crelly with green/blue/purple glass flakes, purple/pink/orange glass flakes and black flakes.

Jen & Berries | Where’s My Damn Chocolate?
Inspiration: Inspired by a screenshot of the upcoming game Haunted Chocolatier made by the Creator of Stardew Valley
Description: Where’s My Damn Chocolate? is a violet jelly base with aqua/blue/purple shimmer and loaded with holographic flakes.
I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lemming Lacquer | Diamond Armor & Pixel Rain
Inspiration: I am inspired by the very chill, cozy days I spent playing Minecraft. I would turn the weather to rain and the mode to Creative so I could simply build and explore different biomes.
Description: Diamond Armor & Pixel Rain is a light blue jelly base with copper to gold to green shimmer, holographic microflakes, and orange holographic microsparks.

Night Owl Lacquer | Pale Garden
Inspiration: Inspired by the Minecraft Pale Garden biome which is my favorite.
Description: Pale Garden is a slightly green tinted grey crelly filled with micro flake shimmer that shifts copper/gold/green, charcoal sparkle micro flakies and taupe micro flakies.

Rain Dance Lacquer | Aurora Crossing
Inspiration: A starry night celebration scene in Animal Crossing
Description: Aurora Crossing is an ultramarine blurple polish with a pink magnetic pigment and scattered holographic micro flakes.
I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I used a velvet magnet on index and pinky nails, catseye magnet on middle and ring nails. Thumb is unmagnetized.
The magnetic pigment is on the subtle side.
