Happy Monday! It’s that time of year ago, and I am so happy to be back to share the 8th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Box for 2025!
This is my 7th year sharing this box, so I have covered every single one that came out – which is an absolute honor. I look forward to it every year, and I make a donation myself since this is something that hits close to home, as almost every female in my family has had or currently has breast cancer. My mom has had it twice and luckily it was caught early both times. It’s important to get checked and not to put it off! Not just women either. No matter your gender – get checked!

A little backstory – Chrissy of Hearts and Promises (previously Turtle Tootsie Polishes, this is the first year as Hearts and Promises for this box) is a breast cancer survivor, so she wanted to create a box that would help “give back” to the cause that helped her. You can buy the full box, a full polish only box, or pick and choose individual items within the box. That way if you aren’t able to buy the box, you can still grab items you love and it helps be able to donate more. This is also a rather large box, so the group understands that not everyone can grab the full shebang.
All donations go to BCRF.org. Compensation was offered for this box, but I declined it because it’s for charity and I would rather that portion of funds go to the charity and not into my bank account.
Every item within the box has an element of pink in it. They may not be full on pink, but some elements will have the pink factor. Some items will have a capped amount, so I will try to put those in each listing.
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used a clear latex peel off base, and for the glossy photos I did Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased.. and that’s an affiliate link). For all textured polishes, I did use Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber (PR) and Monarch Lacquer top coat over it.
For my lighting setup, since I use artificial lighting due to my day job, involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
And lastly – I do use artificial gel nails that I do myself at home. In this post (and video) I am using Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto, which are clear nails. I do not use blurring base coats or anything to increase opacity of the nails – and it shows during my YouTube videos especially. With the clear nails, if you can see through the tip still – then odds are you will also see VNL through the polish I have on. If you cannot see through them, then opacity was likely reached.

Alchemy Lacquers | Perfect In Pink
Perfect in Pink is a solar polish that shifts from a bubblegum pink in the shade to magenta in the sun with contrasting cyan to blue to purple shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I used a UV light for photo transition since it was foggy and rainy out when I did photos (yay New England Summer Weather!)

All Mixed Up Lacquer | Hoppin’ For A Cure
Hoppin’ For A Cure is a jelly olive base with scattered gold/copper shimmer filled with white, multiple shades of pink glitters, and a dash of pink heart shape glitters and butterfly. I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Due to the larger glitters and shapes – even with glitter smoother and top coat – you may still feel some random bumps.

Power Within is a plum rose jelly base with bright blue shimmer and holo glitter sparkle. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pink Ribbon is a neon pink creme with metallic silver magnetic pigment. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Resilience In Pink is a bright pink jelly base with green to blue to purple to pink shifting crystal flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Peculiar Polish | Cuticle Oil
Peculiar Polish brings us a cuticle oil in the scent I Am A Warrior, which is a love spell (Victoria Secret) inspired scent! This comes in an 8ml glass rollerball container with pink ribbobs and silver holo middle finger glitters.
This is a fresh, sensuous fragrance oil with top notes of grapefruit, clementines and strawberries. Middle notes are peach, black currant, and rose petals. Rounding out the scent is a sweet, white musky base note.
