KBShimmer is getting ready to release her Summer 2013 Collection and like her past collections, she definitely didn’t disappoint!

The KBShimmer Summer Collection consists of 9 new polishes with a beautiful range of color!  From neon matte polish to milky bases, there is a little something for everyone!  These are set to release June 1st!  Check out the bottom of the post for more release info!

Don’t Pink Twice:

Don’t Pink Twice is a gorgeous neon magenta pink matte polish with subtle blue iridescent shimmer within.  I was actually really surprised my camera was able to pick up on the shimmer!  My favorite polish of the collection hands down.  I loved all of them, but this one… this one is just amazing.  I used 2 coats for this photo.  No top coat because I love it as matte.

This is seriously the mother of all pink matte polishes.

24 Carrot Bold:

24 Carrot Bold is the other neon matte polish in the collection!  24 Carrot Bold is a neon orange with gold shimmer throughout.  What you see is what you get!  The gold shimmer really does stand out against the orange.  Beautiful combo!  I used 2 coats for this photo.  No top coat.

Grayscale:

Grayscale is the only glitter top coat in the collection.  It is a mix of black and white hex and square glitters in a clear base.  I used 1 coat of Grayscale over Don’t Pink Twice, and I love the bright background with it.  I topped the mani off with KBShimmer Clearly on Top fast dry top coat.

Blinded By The Bright:

Blinded By The Bright is a perfect name.  This is a neon yellow base with a rainbow assortment of hex glitters scattered throughout.  I used 3 coats for this photo and Clearly On Top to make it glossy!

It’s Razz-ical:

It’s Razz-ical is a raspberry jelly base with holographic hex glitters in magenta, silver and pink.  I only needed 2 coats for this photo and a glossy top coat.  Stunning color!  It is packed with glitter, but 1 coat of top coat smoothed it all out.

The Dancing Green:

The Dancing green is a bright green base which is slightly blue tinted (it really is, but my camera refused to pick up the blue for some reason…) with fuchsia, deep blue,  green and chartreuse glitters mixed in.  I only needed 2 coats for this photo and a glossy top coat.

Totally Tubular:

Totally Tubular is a blue-green crelly base with fuchsia circle glitters, fuchsia micro slices, aqua circle glitters and dark blue hex glitters.  I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for this photo!

What’s Your Damage?

What’s Your Damage? is a white crelly polish with neon green, neon pink, and black glitters.  I used Sinful Colors in Wisp for a white base and then 2 coats of What’s Your Damage? over it.  Loving the mix of neon glitter with black glitter!

Pimp My Pride:

Pimp My Pride is going to be part of my 4th of July mani this year!  A white crelly base with red and blue hex glitters in different sizes as well as red and blue mixro bar glitter mixed in.  I used 3 coats of Pimp My Pride on its own with a glossy top coat to seal it in!

Overall, this is a must have collection!  If you are on a budget and can only snag a few – I HIGHLY recommend Don’t Pink Twice, 24 Carrot Bold and It’s Razz-ical!  But if you can grab all 9 – do it!  I had absolutely no application issues on any of the polishes!  All of the polishes with glitter in them had the perfect amount of glitter, as always!  No fishing around for any glitter and none of the glitter clumped up or made it hard to work with!

I’m almost sad that the Light Side Holo swatches are coming to an end!  This is such a beautiful set and completely wearable for all occasions!  Since I didn’t have work today, I was able to snap an outdoor picture as well so you can see how stunning these are outside as well as inside!

Amity is up today!  The 7th and final Light Side Holo!

Amity is a color shifting holographic nail polish that shifts from green to red to gold with silver tones.  Indoors it’s a completely angelic color!  So soft and gorgeous.  Photographed is 3 coats with a glossy top coat.

Check out the holo outdoors!

You wouldn’t have guessed that from the indoor shots!  All of the Light Side Holos are this stunning outdoors!

Today I will be showing you Altruism!

Altruism is a color shifting holographic nail polish that shifts from light purple to red to a greenish blue with silver tones.  This is such a delicate looking polish!  I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for this photo!

Altruism has a more subtle color shift – but as you can see from the photos, it still carries that inner glow that the rest do!

I don’t have a huge “WANT” list when it comes to polish.  There are only a few polishes that I really want, most of which are near impossible to get (of course!).  Unicorn Puke by Cult Nails has been on my list for a LONG time, but I had it set in my mind that I may never get it.

That all changed last week when a lovely lady in a group I am in said she had a brand new bottle of Unicorn Puke that she would sell.

I jumped on that quicker than you could imagine!  Even better?  She didn’t sell it for the Ebay pricing!  I really got a great deal on it and I about peed myself when it arrived, perfectly wrapped, in the mail!

Here is Unicorn Puke over Enigmatic (also a gorgeous Cult Nails polish!)

Pictured is 2 coats of Enigmatic with 1 coat of Unicorn Puke layered over it.  This is just the mother of all flakie polishes.

And one more…

I received bottle 65 of 275 (each bottle is marked with gold writing on the side to indicate which bottle # you have).  Absolute perfection and it pairs perfectly with Cult Nails Enigmatic.

Unicorn Puke is no longer available.  It was Limited Edition (hence the bottle #) and can be found sometimes in blog sales or on Ebay – but for the most part – be prepared to pay a pretty penny for it.

OPI Couture de Minnie Collection Swatches and Review

OPI is releasing another Minnie Mouse inspired collection!  The Couture de Minnie Collection consists of 5 polishes, all of which are Limited Edition.  Included within the 5 polishes is another Liquid Sand!

Lets take a look!

Innie Minnie Mighty Bow:

Innie Minnie Mighty Bow is a stunning cherry red with gold shimmer throughout.  I used 2 coats for this photo and it applied beautifully.  I also used 1 coat of glossy top coat.

A Definite Moust Have:

This one is my favorite of the collection!  A Definite Moust Have is a hard one to describe.  Part of me wants to say if Coral and Fuchsia had a baby… this is what it would look like.  It’s a gorgeous color and has a fine silvery shimmer throughout.   Really a stunning color!  I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat.

Chic From Ears to Tail:

Chic From Ears to Tail is a pretty bubblegum pink with a VERY subtle shimmer within.  I absolutely love the color and subtlety of the shimmer, but I had issues with application.  Shown is 4 coats and a glossy top coat.  If you have the time and patience, I would say go for it.. but just letting you know, this gorgeous color will take a little time.  Check out the closeup to get a glimpse of the shimmer!

You can see little twinkles of shimmer around where the light hits my nails!

Minnie Style:

Minnie Style is the glittery top coat of the collection that looks great with any of the colors within the collection!  It is packed with white matte hex glitters as well as pink and red hex glitter.  I used 1 coat of Minnie Style over Chic From Ears to Tail.

Magazine Cover Mouse:

Magazine Cover Mouse is the Liquid Sand of the collection!  Like I say in all Textured polish reviews, this is obviously a complete preference polish!  Personally, I LOVE textures!  Magazine Cover Mouse is a strawberry red base with gold and fuchsia glitters within.  I used 2 coats of Magazine Cover Mouse and no top coat for this.

Overall, the collection is great for all Minnie Mouse fans!  The must have’s from the collection are Magazine Cover Mouse, A Definite Moust-Have and Innie Minnie Mighty Bow!

I have had this swatch done for a couple days, but then I took a couple of days off, so I’m a little later than I meant to be with this gorgeous polish!

Tonight I’m showing you another Light Side Holo from Mentality!  Tonight’s swatch is Humility!

Humility is a color shifting holographic nail polish that shifts from gold to silver to blue with green and silver tones.  Another glowy, perfect polish!!  I used 2 coats for this photo and a glossy top coat.

Look at that amazing color shift!  I don’t think I can really pick a favorite from this whole collection.  Just go to town and buy all of them!
