So I got my Zoya nail mail earlier this week, but I wanted to wait until the sun was out to show them off. There were only two colors from their True Collection I didn’t purchase and those two were Cho and Farah. Mainly I didn’t order them because I can’t pull off “foundation” nail polish when they are on their own. Some ladies can really rock the nude shades such as these, but I am not one of those ladies!
First up today is Zoya Cho, which is described as a yellow-toned light soft peachy beige with a hint of ultra fine silver shimmer. Now, I like this color in the bottle and I can see myself using it as a base color to use when I get polishes that need 5+ coats to BE opaque – but alone, this color isn’t for me.
Now, I can’t swatch the True Collection without throwing some flecks in too… so here is Cho with Fleck Effects in order from L to R: Chloe, Maisie & Opal
Next up is Zoya Farah. This is a darker than Cho and doesn’t have the subtle shimmer to it. Probably my least favorite of them all, but again, I can use it as a base for thinner polishes! Farah is described as a light khaki-beige with subtle sandy, greenish undertones and a cream finish. Take a look:
And now of course – Farah with the Fleck Effects (from top to bottom – Opal, Maisie and Chloe):
Even though the color of these two Zoya polishes aren’t something I would spring for, the formula was fabulous. I used 2 coats for each color and they went on easily and smooth. I only used 1 coat of each Fleck Effect polish.
Zoya nail lacquer is available at Zoya.com for $8.00 per bottle.
**These polishes were sent to me by Zoya for review. The opinions are strictly my own and I was not paid for this review**
