Happy Saturday! I have the Zoya Summer 2017 Wanderlust Collection to share with you on this beautiful day!
The Zoya Summer 2017 Wanderlust Collection is a 12 piece collection. Normally with their seasonal collections we see two 6 piece collections carrying two separate names, but this time they put all 12 shades into one collection. The Zoya Summer 2017 Wanderlust Collection consists of 4 intense shimmers, 1 subtle shimmer and 7 cremes.
This collection is set to release on May 15th – so get ready!
Let’s take a look.
Arbor
Zoya Arbor is a medium olive green creme. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Byrdie
Zoya Byrdie is a medium bubblegum pink creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Cora
Zoya Cora is a bright orange toned coral creme. It’s a touch pinker in person. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Esty
Esty is a slightly dusty, medium pink creme that has an incredibly subtle shimmer. In the bottle it’s fairly obvious (you can see it in my photo) but on the nail it’s almost non existent.
I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. I found the formula to be a touch on the thick side, but not difficult to work with.
Journey
Zoya Journey is a strawberry red base with pink to gold shifting shimmer flecks. The base is a touch pinker in person. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Lois
Zoya Lois is a pink toned violet creme. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Mandy
Zoya Mandy is a vibrant berry pink base with pink to gold shifting shimmer flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Winnie
Winnie is a vibrant watermelon pink creme. I found the formula a touch thick, but not difficult to work with. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
River
Zoya River is a vibrant cobalt blue base with aqua to pink shimmer flecks. The pink didn’t want to pick up on camera, but in the bottle the polish seems to shift to a violet with the pink hits the blue. That didn’t translate onto the nail though.
I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Sawyer
Zoya Sawyer is a bright almost pastel like creamy orange. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Scout
Zoya Scout is a beautiful and somewhat interesting shade. To me, it’s a slightly olive green tinged mustard yellow packed with golden shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
While it’s not a color I would usually wear (I’m not a fan of olive green or mustard yellow) there is a glowing aspect to it that I actually quite like.
Sonja
Zoya Sonja is a pink toned bright red creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Zoya Summer 2017 Wanderlust Collection Overview
Formulation wise, the majority of these were fantastic. I found Esty and Winnie to be a touch thick, but still applied nicely.
Aside from 2 slightly thick cremes and the label swap, I had no issues at all with this collection. It’s a little heavy on the pinks, but the colors were done nicely.
Along with 12 lovely polishes, there are also 3 lipsticks releasing with the Summer 2017 collection. Kitty (neutral pink), Kirby (bright watermelon pink) and Kay (creamy sheer red) I have them on the way, so once in my possession, I will post those as well.
My top picks: Winnie, Scout, Sonja, Cora and Sawyer
