I received my Zoya Tickled and Bubbly collections today!  Gorgeous Summer colors for 2014.  I was so excited to try them out and play.  I drove home after work, walked into the house to get started and my nail snagged a little on my shirt.  What the?  A whole chunk of my index fingernail was gone.

So to start this off, I apologize my nails aren’t even.  It broke too low to salvage and try to make it look better, and I couldn’t bring myself to file the others down THAT low.  So one nail is messed up.  Life goes on.  I know it’s not as visually appealing – but oh well!

I’m starting the Zoya Summer 2014 posts with the Bubbly Collection!  I was most excited for these 6 shades, and they didn’t disappoint!  For me they almost remind me of non textured Magical Pixies.  Almost.

Alright let’s begin!  Seriously though, sorry for the funky nail…

Zoya Staasi

Zoya Staasi is a gorgeous green jelly base with iridescent holographic glitters within and a gorgeous gold shimmer.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Zoya Muse

Zoya Muse is the perfect Mermaid polish!  This is a gorgeous blue jelly base with gold shimmer and iridescent and holographic glitters scattered within.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Zoya Jesy

Zoya Jesy is a fiery orange jelly base with the slightest coral hint.  It contains gold shimmer and iridescent and holographic glitters within it.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Zoya Harper

Zoya Harper is one of my favorites!  Harper has a hot pink jelly base with gold shimmer and iridescent and holographic glitters mixed in.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Zoya Binx

Binx is a gorgeous deep pinkish purple jelly base with gold shimmer and iridescent and holographic glitters.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Zoya Alma

Zoya Alma is a sunny, vibrant golden orange jelly base with gold shimmer and iridescent and holographic glitters.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Overview

Zoya amazed me with this collection.  Every color is stunning and the mix of jelly, shimmers and glitters are just stunning!  I wish there was a beautiful purple shade in the mix (hint hint Zoya) but maybe they will expand this collection idea into other seasons.  Application was great on all 6 shades.  Considering the amount of shimmer and glitters mixed into the jellies, they spread evenly and easily.  The polishes are completely smooth with just 1 coat of top coat as well.  Absolutely, glittery perfection!

They're all so pretty it hurts! I thought the Awaken collection contained the prettiest polishes I'd ever seen, but this collection is even better. I guess if I have to choose ONE as a favorite, it would have to be Alma because I have nothing like it in my collection.

The problem is that I love them all but if it wasn't for the name Staasi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stasi) I'd would pick that one as my favourite, but because of this unfortunately naming I'd say that Alma is my favourite. Such a beautiful yellow-orange! I too miss a really explosive purple/magenta.
