Zoya Beach Collection Swatches and Reviews

Summer 2012 is going to be a super stylish season for nails with the latest offering of nail polish collections, Beach and Surf, from the new color of fashion, Zoya! This new splash of color, designed by the Zoya color experts, is kissed by sea and sand translating beautifully onto the nail in the famous, full-coverage Zoya formula.

Dive into the creamy shades of the Zoya Beach Collection or the shimmering sea foils of the Zoya Surf Collection. The choice is yours – this color palette is sure to be a splash!

Ahhh Zoya… my first polish love.  The polish brand that started it all for me!  Back in December I got sucked in by all of Zoya’s amazing December promotions and giveaways and walked away with over 70 polishes (but we won’t discuss how much that actually cost me…).  I patiently await each and every collection Zoya releases, so when I saw their Summer 2012 Collection was coming soon – I counted down the days until it would be MINE!

On Friday, my package from Zoya’s PR team arrived – but sadly, I had to work all day Saturday so the swatches had to wait until today!  Because 12 polishes are involved I split them up into 2 posts.  This is the Beach Collection Post!  Surf Collection will be posted tomorrow!

Here come the swatches!

Reagan – deep cerise pink cream – the formula for Reagan was perfect.  Smooth, spread easily and dry time was fast!  Dried a little darker than what you see in the bottle, but I still loved the color.

Lara  – vivid cerise pink cream – Lara was probably my absolute favorite of the 3 pink tones in the Beach collection!  Formula was easy to work with and a gorgeous vivid summery pink.

Shelby  – soft pinky pink cream – Shelby is a gorgeous slightly blue toned, soft pink.  Again, no issues with the formula, but I did use 3 coats in for this photo to get completely full coverage.  Well worth the wait of 3 coats though!

Arizona  – soft coral orange cream – Arizona is unlike any orange I own (probably because I don’t own many…) but it is lovely.  Only issue – the formula.  It was slightly runny for me, but it wasn’t pooling up in my cuticles.  I would put a coat on and as it dried it seemed to be drawing away from the center of my nails… really odd?  Bad bottle maybe?  Not sure.  I used 3 coats to even it out.  The photo came out brighter than it is in person, it really isn’t this neonish in real life!

Tracie  – sea grass metallic – Tracie is the spring green I needed!  The slight shimmer in Tracie really just made it pop for me!  No formula issues with this beauty at all!

Wednesday – soft aqua cream – This was my favorite of the Beach collection, which surprised me.  It is a more of a muted color, but still pulls off a spring like color look.  I have plenty of BRIGHT aqua cream colors from other companies recently released, so having a toned down aqua is a bit of a relief.

I will be reviewing the other half of Zoya’s Summer Collection (Surf) shortly.   So keep an eye out!

These pictures are amazing I can’t wait to get mine! Zoya I think will always have a special place in my heart and many of got our start with those promo’s. That being said you may have got 70 but the price you paid was unbelievable. I keep thinking the collection isn’t all that different or what I expected but everytime I see each and every blogger doing a swatch I want it even more.

I know Tina! Zoya started off my collection and I LOVE them! They also were the FIRST company to send me samples to review, to which I am FOREVER grateful!

You will NOT be disappointed when you get yours in!

When I first saw photos of the bottles, I thought I would pass on this collection, but some of these swatches are making me rethink that decision :D

These are so pretty. I’ve never tried Zoya, but I love some of these colors. I didn’t think I would like the Beach Collection. I was leaning towards the Surf since I like the shimmer. I’m waiting for all of the swatches and a good promo before I make a purchase.
