Voloom is a volumizing iron for your hair that adds some serious oomph without the use of hairspray, gel, and no need to rat your hair.

The Secret is in the Patented Plates. VOLOOM creates hidden volumizing structure in the under-layers of the hair, lifting the top layers up and away from the scalp.

Using it is incredibly easy.  All I had to do was part my hair as I normally would, section off the top layer of hair (so I can add volume to the layers under), use VOLOOM on the under layers (near the scalp), clamp down and release.  I repeat that 2 to 3 times around the scalp area to get a desired level of volume.

Best part (aside from it being quick and easy to use)? It lasts all day.  Without the use of sprays or gels.

Also, I will say I was mainly impressed because my hair doesn’t hold curl or anything very well.  It’s thick and heavy and weighs down whatever I try to do to it, so I generally don’t bother.  My volume holds all day with VOLOOM though.  It’s just amazing.

Here is a closer look at the VOLOOM Volumizing Iron.  It looks similar to a flat iron and holds like one, but instead of flat plates VOLOOM has alternating platforms with beveled edges that bend the hair much more gently, creating natural-looking “volume pockets” in the hair.

If you are looking to add volume to your hair then I highly recommend VOLOOM.  Regardless of the thickness of your hair, this adds amazing volume to it without much fuss and it lasts.  I have been using VOLOOM fairly regularly for a few months now and I haven’t had one single complaint.  It’s fast and super easy to use, and in the mornings, that’s all I really ask for (so not a morning person).
