Technically it’s still Valentine’s Day, so it’s hopefully not too late to throw this post in!
I decided kind of last minute to do a pink mani for Valentine’s Day! I just received a bunch of new Color Club goodies yesterday and while I had them on my desk staring at me, I thought “Eh, why not?!”
I didn’t have time to do a full water marble manicure but I always love a good accent nail when time is a little more restrictive. I grabbed my Crystalline Nail Veil from Color4Nails to get started (perfect time to test it on a water marble as well!)
To start I painted my ring finger nail with Color Club Blank Canvas.
Once the nail was painted I covered the surrounding skin with Crystalline Nail Veil to protect my skin and make for easy clean up.
I did a very quick water marble and it came out kind of “off” so it’s definitely not my best one (but certainly not my worst!)
I used Color Club Feathered Hair Out To There (pale pink) and Sweet Getaway (hot pink) for the marble.
I peeled off the Crystalline Nail Veil and had absolutely no other cleanup to do. You have no idea how much time this shaved off for me. Unless you’ve used it before… then you know.
I decided to add a small gem to the center to distract a little from the slightly wonky design.
I painted the remaining nails with Feathered Hair Out To There, added top coat and my Valentine’s Day mani was complete.
Overall, I like my Valentine’s Day mani. The colors are perfect for it, the Color Club shades marbled really nicely and Blank Canvas was the perfect base for it!
