Trind Perfect System Kit Review

A lot of ladies enjoy painting their nails. There are thousands of gorgeous colors and finishes out their to suit everyone’s needs. But a lot of women don’t know how to properly care for their nails to maintain healthy nails. Whether you like your nails short or try to grow them as long as you can, proper care needs to take place. Tons of everyday things cause damage to the nail bed and cuticles that a lot of people don’t stop and take note of until it’s too late.

A month ago I was sent the Trind Perfect System Kit to try out and review. I thought it would be wonderful to be able to review a system such as Trind’s, and obviously this isn’t an overnight review. I have been using the Trind Perfect System Kit now for well over a month and the results are fabulous! I was told that their kit was ‘liquid gold’ and it truly is.

Our premium kit contains 6 products for perfect growth, perfect nails, perfect cuticles and perfect hands.

Each kit contains Extra Mild Cuticle Remover, Manicure Sticks, Cuticle Repair Balsam, Nail-Magic, Moisturizing Nail Balsam, Natural Nail Repair, Hand Repair, and the Perfect System Brochure

Here is the package I received from Trind:

To revisit the colors I swatched and reviewed, head on over here

One thing I was worried about with the system was the smell.  Usually nail care items, the smell makes me queasy.  I hate the chemically smell of nail care products, but with Trind the smell is actually quite pleasant.  Almost a subtle sweet floral scent, but it isn’t strong enough to induce migraines (which I get a good deal of).

Now onto the products themselves!

To start the Trind Perfect System, make sure you have naked, clean nails!  Apply the first step, which is the Cuticle Remover.  Apply Cuticle Remover onto your cuticles and let sit for 5-10 minutes.  You only need to apply the Cuticle Remover once a month, so this 9ml bottle will actually last quite a long time.  The kit also comes with 2 manicure sticks, so once the time is up, use these to gently remove the excess cuticles.  This is a gentle process, the cuticle remover and sticks should NOT hurt, if they do you may be a little too rough on yourself.  The cuticle should remove easily and nearly effortlessly!

The next step to the system is Cuticle Balsam which helps prevent dry cuticles and hangnails.  A lot of normal things you do everyday sucks the moisture out of your hands and nails, simple things such as washing your hands (which I would hope you all do…).  Trind Cuticle Balsam provides nutrients and stimulates production of skin cells.  Apply the Cuticle Balsam all around your cuticles, allow to sit a few minutes and then gently rub the balsam into your nails and cuticles.  Again, this is a gentle product with a pleasant smell.

The third step is Trind Nail Balsam which is a moisturizer for your cuticles and nails.  When your nails have good moisture they are less prone to being brittle and dry.  If you have peeling nails that tend to split and tear then your fingernails require more of the nail’s natural fluid.  Now I’m not saying that this will stop all your nail woes.  If you are like me and decide to slam your nail into a car door and it cracks or splits, this will stop that.. because it won’t.  Trust me.  It does help your nails look and feel healthier so simple things won’t snap, tear or chip them.  There is no miracle again slamming them into things though sadly.  Again, apply to the nail and cuticle, let sit for a few minutes and then gently massage in.  I use this once a week with amazing results!

Almost done here!  Was trying not to make this too wordy, but I needed to! This may seem like a time consuming process, but it really isn’t and your nails will thank you for it!

The next step is Trind Nail Repair.  This is a nail strengthener that will not dehydrate your nails or turn them that yucky yellowish color.  Trind Nail Repair is not a thick nail strengthener, it is thinner so your nails are still flexible and not like you just got acrylics put on.  The problem with most nail strengtheners I have used is that they make my nails TOO stiff so if I graze a bookshelf or something, my nail has no ‘give’ and will snap rather then flex a tiny bit and bounce back.  The Nail repair I received comes in a glossy finish, but it is also available in a matte finish as well as colored finishes (if you want to leave this on in place of nail lacquer).

The last step to the Trind Perfect System is Hand Repair moisturizing cream.  This is a fast absorbing, moisturizing cream that doesn’t leave a greasy feel to your hands.  It’s great when you have healthy nails and cuticles, but it is still noticeable when the rest of your hands are dry and cracked.  I work with my hands a LOT, so moisturizer is NEEDED.  Otherwise I would have rough, cracked skin and no one really wants that… do they?

On March 23rd I cut my nails down which was the perfect opportunity to see how nicely my nails would grow.  I saw amazing results.  My nails do grow quick, but never this quick.  Within 3 weeks my nails were almost back to the length they were before I cut them down.  Usually it takes a month and half to get to that point.

Here are the pictures.  The first was taken March 24th (Featuring Haze Glaze Fairy Dust):

Here is a photo of the same hand taken on April 1st (featuring Zoya Arizona):

For me, the growth is impressive (just kindly ignore the nasty cut on my pinky in the Arizona picture!).  These photo’s were taken 8 days apart!  I’m impressed!

The price of the kit may make a few of you say “You are out of your mind!” but keep in mind, everything in the kit lasts A LONG TIME!  This isn’t something you need to repurchase every month!  I use each item ONCE a week (except the cuticle remover, that is once a month) so these 9ml bottles will last over a year!  That really isn’t bad considering how much I was paying for nail care at a drugstore!

Another amazing thing Trind offered?  A PROMO CODE for all of my followers to use!  Head to Trind’s Website and type in  sanctuary during checkout and you will get 25% off your total purchase now through May 29th! The Trind Perfect System Kit retails for $79.95, after the discount it comes to $59.97 which still isn’t bad!  If you don’t need everything in the kit, you can also purchase items individually!  You can still enjoy the 25% off!
