Happy Monday! After today I have a full week off from work, so things will be busy around here. We have a lot of Polish Con offerings, Polish Pickup Shop shades, as well as Spring releases going on. I fell a little behind during tax season, but I’m making up for it!

This morning I have the Tonic Nail Polish Spring 2017 Collection. I was originally going to hold off, but I forgot to upload other photos for collections I’ve done, so here we are.

The Tonic Nail Polish Spring 2017 collection contains some vibrant colors with shimmers, shifts and a sprinkling of holo.

I Pink You Blue Me Off

I Pink You Blue Me Off is a bright medium blue creme with strong pink to yellow shifting shimmer mixed in. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Deep Sea-crets

Deep Sea-crets stole my heart as soon as I unwrapped the bottle! This is a bright turquoise creme base with strong peachy pink to gold shifting shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Endless Shrimp

Endless Shrimp is a stunning coral creme with a light green shimmer laced throughout. The green shimmer was incredibly difficult to capture and turned out looked gold on my camera, but it’s not gold. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I had very slight self leveling issues with this shade, but Tonic has already addressed it and the formula will be changed a bit for purchases. The color and shimmer will be identical, so no worries on that!

Aurora Sunrise

Aurora Sunrise is a medium orchid pink jelly base packed with strong turquoise to purple shifting shimmer, as well as ultra holo microglitters. I used 2 medium coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Titanium Orchid

Titanium Orchid joins the “Lumichrome” family, which includes the shades Incandescent, Luminescent, and Greenglow.

Titanium Orchid is a purple metallic multichrome that shifts to lavender, peach and gold. It also has a fairly strong scattered holographic effect mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Personally I love this shade and the shifts it shows. I didn’t immediately place it with the Lumichrome family for some reason. While very pretty, it doesn’t have that same ethereal glow that Incandescent, Luminescent, and Greenglow have.

Foxfire

Foxfire is the sixth and final shade to share from the Spring 2017 collection! Foxfire is another metallic multichrome! This one is harder for me to capture, and I feel came out a little deeper in color in my photos than what’s seen in person. That is partly because of the lights hitting a metallic base.

Foxfire is a metallic rose gold to yellow gold to bronze base with scattered holo shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tonic Nail Polish Spring 2017 Collection Overview

This is quite a Spring collection! Application wise, everything was nice. I had some self leveling issues with Endless Shrimp, but Lindsey was already aware it might be an issue and fixed it before samples even got to bloggers. Otherwise everything was wonderful.
