Sally Hansen Rock of Ages Salon Effect Real Nail Polish Strips Review

Sally Hansen Rock of Ages Salon Effect Real Nail Polish Strips Review GET ROCKER CHIC NAILS WITH “ROCK OF AGES”-INSPIRED SALON EFFECTS REAL NAIL POLISH STRIPS FROM SALLY HANSEN Sally Hansen recently released a set of Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips inspired by the head-banging film adaptation of the Broadway hit from New Line Cinema, “Rock of Ages!”  I did a Launch post for them HERE.  I also received two of the eight Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips to show you lovelies! I want to start by saying that I am no expert in applying these, but they are easier to apply than I originally thought. Fingerlace Gloves: Fingerlace Gloves were my favorite of the two sets I received.  These strips were made to look like… well… Fingerlace Gloves.  Observe: (Image found HERE) Pretty good right?  Fingerlace Gloves has a cream colored background and a black lace look.  This was…

Princess Polish – Strawberry Jam Swatch and Review

Princess Polish – Strawberry Jam Swatch and Review Princess Polish has officially launched her very first indie nail polish line!  The Must Be Jelly Collection!  I was lucky enough to get a bottle of Strawberry Jam to review and it is lovely! Must Be Jelly Collection  consists of FIVE Jelly Holo polishes (yes, I just said the perfect combo for me… jelly polish WITH holo in it… oh yeah).  Want to see a picture of the five polishes?  Of course you do! (Picture courtesy of Princess Polish!) From left to right is Strawberry Jam, Mint Jelly, Grape Jelly, Orange Marmalade, and Blueberry Jam. While I would love to show you all five, as of right now I only have Strawberry Jam to show you (I will get the rest though, I have to!) Strawberry Jam: Strawberry Jam is a gorgeous mild magenta holo jelly.  The holo is fairly subtle indoors but…

SoFlaJo Girls Night Glitter Swatch and Review

SoFlaJo Girls Night Glitter Swatch and Review Ready for another SoFlaJo review?  I have had the pleasure of reviewing her gorgeous polish in the past, so when given the opportunity to do so again, I squealed a bit and said “OF COURSE!!” My last review of SoFlaJo’s creation was Grasshopper, revisit that post HERE! Today I will be showing you Girls Night Glitter from her new Life’s A Beach collection! Girls Night Glitter: Girls Night Glitter is a colorful glitter explosion of pink, blue and black glitter within a true blue base.  I used 2 coats of Girls Night Glitter and finished it off with a top coat, and the polish was smooth and snag free!  no grittiness here!  This is a gorgeous stand out glitter polish without being “child like”.  I love the pops of pink against the blue in this! Bottle Shot! To view the rest of SoFlaJo’s Life’s A…

365 Days of Color – Bora Bora and Waking up in Vegas Swatches

365 Days of Color – Bora Bora and Waking up in Vegas Swatches I guess this is kind of becoming Indie week!  I’m not complaining at all, I’m actually really loving it!  Now, 365 Days of Color is an Indie polish maker that I have had the pleasure of reviewing in the past on her first and second collections.  The two I am showing you tonight are from her third collection, Travel the World! Bora Bora: Bora Bora is a gorgeous sky blue with pink shimmer.  The shimmer is perfect and does NOT over power the blue, but is still noticeable.  I used 3 coats for this mani.  Each coat dried fast and applied beautifully! Waking Up In Vegas: Waking up In Vegas contains black and white diamond shaped glitter and smaller square red glitter in a clear base.  I loved that I didn’t need to fish around the bottle to…

Smitten Polish – Bluebird Swatch and Review

Smitten Polish – Bluebird Swatch and Review Good evening!  I have yet ANOTHER Indie polish to share with you all!  This is a new Indie for me, and it’s by Smitten Polish!  I’m not usually one for brown polishes, but the way the blue pops against it, I couldn’t resist! Bluebird:   Bluebird is a milk chocolate colored jelly polish with small aqua glitter and slightly larger aqua hex glitter.  I didn’t have to fish around for glitter on this at all!  A decent amount came out with each dip into the bottle.  There isn’t an overabundance of glitter either, it really is a happy medium of glitter to polish!  Application was great and all the glitters lay flat!  I topped it off with a glossy top coat for a smooth finish! I also got Winter is Coming by Smitten Polish, so that will be in a future post.  This…
