SuperChic Lacquer Marvel Star Quick Dry Top Coat Review

I have a fun top coat to show you tonight from the SuperChic Lacquer lineup! I had to borrow a black light to show it’s effects and luckily I have a coworker that pretty much owns anything you could ask for. Seriously – I’ve actually looked at her at work and said “You own random stuff, do you have this *insert random item here*?” And even though she kinda huffs and says “I do not!” she then turns, opens her bag of random things and pulls out whatever I asked for. She also had the black light!

Cover

SuperChic Lacquer has a MARVEL Liquid Macro Top Coat, which I’ve used before and it’s a normal, glassy top coat, and on September 30th she will be releasing a new top coat! This top coat is Marvel Star Neon Liquid Macro Quick Dry Top Coat. It gives the same glossy finish of the original, but this one is fun to play with under a black light!

Here’s a comparison with a black light nearby.

Bottles

Girly Bits Glitter Glaze is the top coat I use for glitters to smooth them over. As you can see the SuperChic Lacquer one is glowing near the black light while the Girly Bits is not. Just a side by side for everyone.

Normal Light

In normal lighting, Marvel Star looks like any top coat. It’s super glossy and dries fairly quick. It doesn’t alter the polish at all.

Under black light, it GLOWS! Sorry my hand was a bit shaky – I took 40 photos and this was the clearest one. This is just one coat of Marvel Star over my grey polish.

Kinda nifty! And thanks to my coworker for her endless bag of goods for making this post easy to demonstrate!

What did you think of Marvel Star top coat? Is this something you would be interested in? I like special effect polishes, but don’t personally own a black light – but this is fun for disco style bowling nights with my son or going to the roller rink and I’m sure many other things!

It would be fun to walk around with a black light to show it all off.

My backlight days are over, but it sounds like fun for Halloween. I need the other “glassy” topcoat instead

I love your officemate. Girl scout of the year, haha! But seriously, whenever hubs would ask me if I have this and that, he’s a happy camper all the time. That’s such a cool top coat btw!
