Soft Holographic Stamping with OPI and Too Fancy Lacquer

Today’s post will be fairly short.  I did some nail stamping and I really wasn’t sure what I wanted.  I brought out my stamping plates and what I intended to do just wasn’t working (the image wouldn’t pick up completely) so I switched it up… and this is what I came up with.

For this I used OPI Don’t Burst My Bubble as a base (3 coats) and then I stamped over it with Too Fancy Lacquer Blue Willow.  I actually like how it came out, but I feel like it needs more.  I didn’t add more… because I was then scared it would be too much and ruin the whole thing.

For the stamping design I used the BM-316 plate.

Here it is under a stronger light source to actually show the tiny holo flower design I stamped on.

Where to Purchase the Items Used

OPI Don’t Burst My Bubble: Amazon

Too Fancy Lacquer Blue Willow: Too Fancy Lacquer Website, Color4Nails Website, and Edgy Polish Website

Bundle Monster BM-316 Plate: Amazon

I’m still working on stamping and I’m definitely getting the hang of it a bit more!  Maybe now I can actually start using the 50 some odd plates I’ve purchased over the last 2 years!

Sometimes, subtle is best! It's a very soft, pretty look - though it looks more like snowflakes to me than flowers! I still like it a lot.

Yeah the detail is small so it's hard to tell they are flowers! Thank you!

I love how the design worked out. With that base being a dainty, sheer-ish nude, I think it was an excellent choice to stamp with a delicate stamp and polish, especially one that was not in-your-face. That holo was an inspired choice! I love how you decided to put the stamping on the tips of your nails, with a part of the design going up the side. Thank you for the lovely photos!
