I have 11 new Serum No 5 shades to show you tonight, plus a rerelease! 7 of these shades released this month September 5th and 5 will release in early October.
Some of the shades are glow in the dark, and I did my best to capture them. Trust me though when I say they do glow even brighter than I could capture (and some were pretty bright!)
I’m going to start with the 7 September releases that are already available, then I will move onto the upcoming October releases.
A Class Act
A Class Act is a medium toned rose pink holographic. I used 2 coats for these photos.
First Colors
First Colors is a white crelly base with a mixture of red, yellow and blue glitters in multiple sizes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
Tassel’s Worth The Hassle
Tassel’s Worth The Hassle is a deep charcoal jelly base with a gorgeous assortment with gold and silver holographic glitters in various sizes and gorgeous shimmer mixed in. This is also a glow in the dark polish that has a nice green glow. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
(ok so this one I couldn’t capture, so you can only see a faint glow, it is more vibrant in person I swear)
Work Hard Play Hard
Work Hard Play Hard is a milk chocolate jelly base packed with shimmer as well as aqua, blue, gold and magenta glitters. I used 3 coats for these photos.
Fractured Rainbows
Fractured Rainbows is a sheer pearly base with iridescent shred glitters. I used 1 coat over Pink Lantern.
Now the mistake I kind of made was using a glow in the dark shred top coat over a glow in the dark base. This top coat has a pale bluish white glow to it ( as you can see in the bottle!)
Leaves You Breathless
Leaves You Breathless is a perfect Fall top coat. This is a clear base packed with gold, green and red glitters. I used 1 coat over a brown creme base.
Sleepy Holo
Sleepy Holo is a beautiful charcoal grey holographic. I used 2 coats for these photos.
And that wraps up the shades released in September, so now we are moving onto the shades that release in early October!
The next 4 shades are part of the Glowmeleon finishes. They are chameleon (duo and multi chrome polishes that also glow in the dark)
Beam Me Up
Beam Me Up is a gorgeous gold shimmer with hints of a reddish coppery shift. This was a surprising favorite (but not my #1!) It’s really beautiful for this time of year. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Dark Matter
Dark Matter is a deep chocolate brown with golden pink shimmer throughout. Another gorgeous Fall shade. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Galactic Rainbow
Galactic Rainbow is a reddish brown base with beautiful aqua blue shimmer throughout. I used 3 thin coats for these photos. Galactic Rainbow has a nice blue glow to it.
Light Speed
Light Speed was my favorite of the bunch! This is a greyed out purple base with blue to green shifting shimmer. It has a nice blue glow to it in the dark. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
And the rerelease shade…
Pink Lantern
Pink Lantern is a vibrant pink creme that is gorgeous on it’s own and while in the dark! I have always heard amazing things about the Serum No 5 GitD cremes, but this is seriously something you have to experience! I used 2 coats for these photos.
Pink Lantern will only be available in October for Breast Cancer Awareness and Halloween. How does Halloween and PINK tie in? Well in the dark, it glows orange!
The camera picked up a yellowish orange, but it’s actually VERY orange in person!
Overview
All of the shades that have released this Fall and that are releasing shortly are beautiful! All of the glow in the darks look so much better in person than I could ever capture with my equipment, but really, they are SO worth it!
Price: $12.00 – $13.00
