I spent another weekend blazing through my swatch packages, so I have a bunch of stuff to share with you. First up we have Salon Perfect Naked Nutrients Collection.

Last week I showed you the Salon Perfect Neon POP! Collection for Summer 2017, and today we have some palette cleanser shades.

The Salon Perfect Naked Nutrients Collection isn’t just a selection of neutrals. This collection is all Keratin treatment based nail lacquer in a nice variety of neutral shades. They are advanced nail therapy lacquers formulated with Keratin proteins that bond with the natural proteins found in your nails already. They help strengthen and protect damaged nails, reduce nail splitting and peeling, as well as restoring lost moisture and promoting healthy nail growth.

Now for full disclosure, I can’t tell you if they worked to strengthen or reduce splitting or peeling. While I wasn’t blessed with flawless skin, I was blessed with incredibly healthy nails. I’ve never experienced splitting, peeling or damaged nails (only damage I get is when I break my nails and even that takes a lot of force.)

If you are like me though, you’ll still enjoy the range of neutrals available and these all had really good formulas. The first coat on all 8 shades scared me a bit though. The first coats all went on kind of streaky and patchy, so I thought they would need multiple coats or a bit of finesse for a nice finish, but the second coat evened it all out and they were ready to be top coated.

Let’s take a look at all 8 shades from the Salon Perfect Naked Nutrients Collection!

Salon Perfect Whipped Cream Kisses

Whipped Cream Kisses is a light milky beige creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Salon Perfect Pass The Skinny Dip

Pass The Skinny Dip is a pale peachy beige creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Salon Perfect Ballerina Slippers

Ballerina Slippers is a light pink beige creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Salon Perfect Sea Shell Sweetie

Sea Shell Sweetie is a dusty beige with a very slight pink tone. It’s an interesting shade and actually turned out to be my top pick. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Salon Perfect Mauve Mood

Mauve Mood is a pink toned greige creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

If greige is new to you – it’s a grey/beige hybrid shade

Salon Perfect Birthmark Beauty

Birthmark Beauty is a medium mauve-brown creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Salon Perfect Brownie Scouts Honor

Brownie Scouts Honor is a milk chocolate creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Salon Perfect Stick To Your Guns

Stick To Your Guns is a rose tinted slate grey creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Salon Perfect Naked Nutrients Collection Overview

Overall, I think Salon Perfect did a fantastic job creating 8 neutrals for a variety of preferences. I do hope they expand this particular collection. While I don’t deal with the nail issues they claim to help, I know a ton of girls that do, and it would be nice to see them in a variety of shades for a wider selection.

Like I said above, I cannot personally comment on whether I saw a difference in my nails. I’m not going to say “they will solve your nail issues lickity split!” because I don’t have any of the issues. However, if you are simply looking for a nice set of neutrals to get naked with, these have nice application and a nice neutral assortment.

The price tag ain’t bad either.

Price: $3.98 Each

I have ever really found these treatment polishes to make a huge difference. It really is more about getting the right vitamins and a little bit of hormones. But I do find they can sometimes last longer than the “regular” polishes from the same brand on problem nails since they are made for them and more forgiving

I’ve seen the neon shades at my Walmart, but not these yet – they are lovely cooler takes on nudes.

I like the shades, it seems there’d be a nude for just about anyone! If they’d also work on peeling nails, that would be amazing…
