REAL NAIL POLISH STRIPS
FROM SALLY HANSEN
Sally Hansen recently released a set of Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips inspired by the head-banging film adaptation of the Broadway hit from New Line Cinema, “Rock of Ages!” I did a Launch post for them HERE. I also received two of the eight Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips to show you lovelies!
I want to start by saying that I am no expert in applying these, but they are easier to apply than I originally thought.
Fingerlace Gloves:
Fingerlace Gloves were my favorite of the two sets I received. These strips were made to look like… well… Fingerlace Gloves. Observe:

Pretty good right? Fingerlace Gloves has a cream colored background and a black lace look. This was the second set I applied, so I had some practice at this point. Not too bad!
Sticks and Stones:
Sticks and Stones was the set I was dying for, but the design for me was just ok. I think part of it for me was that none of the designs were consistent so every nail looked different. That can be a good thing, but I have a little OCD issue with that. I still thought they were cute, just not my type. I would use these for accent nails though, a lot of the Sally Hansen Real Nail Polish Strips make great accent nails!
Both sets applied easily, but I found that none of the strips fit my pointer finger well. There was either too much leftover or not enough to cover. I used the one that was slightly too small and really, it wasn’t that noticeable to me. Each box came with an orange stick, a mini nail file/buffer and instructions that are easy to follow (hey, if I can do it, there is hope for a lot of ladies!)
WHAT IT COSTS: $9.99
WHERE TO FIND THEM: Sally Hansen products are available at chain drug stores, food stores and mass merchandisers nationally.
