Quick & Easy Shopping For The Busy Mom

I’m a busy mom, and I’m sure several of you reading are just like me. You always feel like there isn’t enough time to complete all your projects and you are always falling behind.  Between a full time job, my son’s homework and his extracurricular activities, I’m constantly running around. Obviously Sam’s Club is the perfect choice to stock up on food (I have an 11 year old boy, we need to keep a hefty supply of food) but it’s also where we stock up on supplies, including our hair care! With the hair collection at Sam’s Club, we can get premium Unilever hair care club-sized packs that will help us achieve any style for any season.

 

You want to hear about these new store features though right? Okay, let me run you through this. I’ve used both features and you really can’t go wrong with either one (or do both like I have depending on your schedule!)

 

Earlier this week I was leaving work and sent Nick a text to see if he needed anything before I headed to Sam’s Club on my way home. He said he was good, so I headed over and used the new Scan & Go app. I ran into the store, picked up my Suave Avocado + Olive Oil Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner (I absolutely LOVE how I get smooth, non frizzy hair with this set!) and Jacob’s Suave Kids Shampoo and Body Wash (my son loves simplicity and smooth hair all in one product), plus a few other snack items. As I picked up items from the shelf, I used the app to scan the bar codes then placed them in my cart.

Easy peasy, right? Well hold on cause it gets better.

Once I was done, I hit “Checkout” on the app – paid for my entire purchase from my phone and I was done! All I had to do was hold my phone out when leaving! The Sam’s Club employee at the door scanned my app bar code and I was off to go about my day. I walked past the lines and was done!

Of course, I have another story for this one. Once I got home from my easy shopping trip, I was unloading my goods when Nick spotted my hair care items. He looked at me and said “Oh I’m out of mine too”

You have got to be kidding me.

 

I wasn’t heading back out that night, so I jumped online to Sam’s Club and added his TRESemmé Repair & Protect shampoo and conditioner. An employee there asked for my last name, then handed me my items. I paid online, so that was it. Again – I got in and got out in minutes. If you have a large amount of shopping and use the Club Pickup area, they will also load your car for you. I declined to have them do that since I didn’t have a ton of items and didn’t want to waste their time for things I could easily carry – but the option is there if I need it.

The busy mom in me was so incredibly happy, you have no idea.

I was a solid Sam’s Club member before this, but they just made me 10x more thrilled to be an avid shopper there. I can get all our groceries, plus my family had fabulous hair while I’m at it.
