I’ve been playing with my new camera more, so you’ve seen a lot of Powder Perfect spam on my Facebook wall for the last few days.  Now I’m rolling out posts!

Color4Nails sent me an epic box full of some amazing indies to share with my readers.  Originally I was going to do a huge post for Powder Perfect, but decided to split it into collection groups.  First collection up is Egyptology Series  Part one – The Lower Kingdom Collection.  This is a 5 piece collection but I am missing Bay of Alexandria, so you get to see 4 of the 5 shades today.

The Cobra Goddess

The Cobra Goddess

The Cobra Goddess description is: Wadjet the cobra goddess, is the very personification of Lower Egypt. She was credited with planting the first papyrus plant in Egypt. Represented by a bright shimmering purple holographic microglitter – the polish is as bold as her decisive actions!

I love purple so naturally this polish is a complete win for me.  I used 2 coats for these photos plus a glossy top coat.  If you want a completely smooth finish, I would recommend 2 coats of top coat.

Inundation

Inundation full

Inundation is described as: Since time immemorial the Nile River has blessed Egypt by flooding its banks and depositing rich black silt upon the fields. By doing so it provided fertile ground to grow crops and support the local populace for the coming year. A glittering black polish with bright flashes of holographic glitters.

I used 2 coats of Inundation for these photos and a glossy top coat.

Deshret

Deshret

Deshret is described as: Ancient Egypt had two crowns; one for each kingdom. The crown of the Lower Kingdom was the Red Crown – Deshret. Deshret is a mysterious polish that flashes and sparkles from its deep burgundy depths.

I used 2 coats for these photos and glossy top coat.

“Iteru” The River

Iteru The River

“Iteru” The River is described as: The River was Ancient Egypt’s lifeblood, and the Egyptians timed their lives by its flooding, and spent their days upon its banks. A multifaceted navy polish, with sparks of green and purple.

I used 2 coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.

Overview

These 4 shades are incredibly sparkly and really beautiful on.  Since all of them contain micro glitters, they may require 2 coats of top coat in order to completely smooth over, or wear without top coat for a texture look/feel depending on your preference.

I had no application with any of these 4 Powder Perfect shades and all applied with full coverage in just 2 coats.

Inundation and Iteru are so gorgeous! I love how Inundation is very black but still sparkly.

Deshret is my fave! I’ll probably skip these but I do pick up quite a few Powder Perfects from Color4nails.
