Polished by KPT The Basic Series Collection Swatches & Review

Press Sample

Polished by KPT has released 5 new thermal shades which is appropriately titled “The Basic Series”.  The Basic Series consists of 5 fairly basic shades that transition to lighter, pastel like shade.

Most of Polished by KPT’s thermals have a dash of shimmer or glitter within them, but The Basic Series are all cremes.

Roses For Juliet

Roses for Juliet is a beautiful rosy pink when cold (above) and transitions to a lovely pale pink when warm (below).  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Living On A Breeze

Living On A Breeze is a vibrant cornflower blue when cold (above) and transitions to a milky pale blue when warm (below). I used 2 coats for these photos.

Kiss Me Before Sunrise

Kiss Me Before Sunrise is a peachy orange when cold (above) and transitions to a pale peachy yellow when warm (below).  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Delilac

Delilac is a beautiful lilac lavender when cold (above) and transitions to a pale lilac when warm (below).  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Spring Around Me

Spring Around Me might actually be my favorite of the 5!  Spring Around Me is a medium minty green when cold (above) and transitions to a bright lime green when warm (below).  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Overview

Application wise, I had no issues with any of these shades.  I love that the transition colors are so obvious and change so easily.  My top pick is easily Spring Around Me, but Delilac and Livin On A Breeze are also some favorites from this collection.

Price: $12.00 Each

Gorgeous swatches! I love how these are just straight up thermals, no shimmer no nothing, this way you can fancy them up to your own liking :).
