Polish Pickup February 2023 | Movie Quotes

Happy Saturday! The final item showed up in today’s mail – so I am ready to post some incredible offerings for the Polish Pickup February 2023 shop, and the theme is Movie Quotes!
I have 49 items to share this month, and it’s a nice mix of colors! I show all 49 items on my YouTube channel as well, so be sure to take a look to see it all applied or demonstrated:
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base (purchased by me, but I swatch/admin for the brand), and for the glossy photos I did use a combination of the top coats including Glisten & Glow Top Coat and Vibrant Vinyls which was sent as PR. For all textured polishes, I did use Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber (PR) and for matte photos I used Anchor & Heart Lacquer Sea Glass (purchased by me, but I do swatch for the maker)
My lighting set up was changed. The new lamps give a much truer to color photo with less Photoshop manipulation. So now, since I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my new set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

By far my favorite movie. I’ve watched it several times, and I’ll keep watching. Description: Wonder Oil is DRK’s best reviewed cuticle oil. Created to give all the best ingredients for your nails and cuticles. It’s very easy to use and you can apply as often you desire.
This is a squeeze like tube with a pointed application tip. While it isn’t artificially scented, you can smell the lavender oil and a hint of lemon from the lemon oil – but the lavender is most easy to detect. These are essential oils used.
I have previously used 2 tubes of this and my skin absolutely loves it, now that it’s back in PPU I can grab a couple more.

To choose a famous movie quote between my two favourite directors’ movies, Lucas and Spielberg, I naturally gravitated to something on the Star Wars spectrum. Da-Balmer by Red Eyed Lacquer | L7 Weenie
Inspiration: Inspired by The Sandlot!
Description: Da-Balmer is a cross between a balm and body butter. It’s creamy like a body butter but has a more emollient feel like a balm would. It’s an intensive treatment you can use anywhere (I love it on cuticles of course) but a little goes a long way. If you use too much – it will feel very oily (like a balm would) so start with a little and build up if you need more.
L7 Weenie scent is a house blend of pretzels, berries, cream, rum and agave.
My nose primarily picks up pretzel, but not just the salty snack type – more of the “i’m going to crush these up and add butter and make a pie crust from it” type pretzel scent. The berries are very faint and add a touch of sweetness. Definitely more of a bakery type scent to my nose, which was an unexpected surprise.

There are so many stunning polishes this month but I think my top three are cadillacquer, dark nails, and night owl all three are completely unique to my collection and just gorgeous colors

I purchased 4 polishes from the February PPU. The thing is had I seen the swatches on some of these the way you presented them..WOW! There are some really neat and interesting polishes in there and I feel their swatches didn’t do them justice. I feel you do a wonderful job!
