Painted Polish Various Shades Swatches & Review

Press Sample

Last week I received a review package from Painted Polish and it was full of glittery goodness!  I have 8 of Painted Polish shades to share with you in this post, and tomorrow I will have the newest collection At Sea to share with you!

Let’s take a look these 8 shades and see which are your favorites!

Blinded by Bubbly

Blinded by Bubbly is a clear base densely packed with champagne holographic microglitter.  I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for this photo.

Blinded by Bubbly is part of the Holo Days glitter collection.

Ho-Ho-Holo

Ho-Ho-Holo is a beautiful cherry red jelly base with holo microglitter mixed in.  The micro glitter doesn’t overtake the jelly base, and it’s actually a nice medium ground where both the jelly and microglitter share the spotlight. I used 2 coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.

Ho-Ho-Holo is part of the Holo Days glitter collection.

Painted Pines

Painted Pines is a gorgeous deep pine green jelly base with holographic microglitter mixed in. I used 2 coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.

Summer Sparkler

Summer Sparkler actually surprised me.  This is a clear base with thin silver holographic bar glitters. The rainbow effect on this one was phenomenal. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.

Holo Haze

Holo Haze is a beautiful deep purple jelly base with holographic microglitter mixed in.  Of course this is one of my favorites! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Frisky in Fuchsia

Frisky In Fuchsia is a sheer fuchsia jelly base packed with holographic microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Plastered In Pink

Plastered In Pink is a clear base packed with pale pink holographic microglitter.  I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Radiantly Wrecked

Radiantly Wrecked is a clear base with pink leaning purple holographic microglitter mixed in.  I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Painted Polish Overview

This is my first experience with Painted Polish and it was definitely a good one.  My favorites were definitely the microglitters in jelly bases, but that doesn’t take away with how gorgeous the clear based microglitters are as well. Summer Sparkler was the surprise love for me considering I generally really dislike bar glitter.

All of the microglitters in a clear base reached full coverage in 3 thin coats and smoothed out in just 1 coat of top coat.  The jelly based microglitters only needed 2 coats, and I was quite happy that the jelly bases were so nicely pigmented so it only took two coats for perfect coverage.

They really are, and I love that they don't have the textured feel after just 1 coat of top coat
