OPI Nordic Collection for Fall 2014 Swatches & Review

What? A Fall collection? Yes! It’s getting to that time of year already! Tonight I have the OPI Nordic Collection to show you that is being released for Fall 2014. While there are several Fall appropriate shades within the collection though, OPI did sneak in some brights for those not ready to let go of Summer just yet!

This is a 12 piece collection, so I’m not going to ramble… let’s get on with it!

My Dogsled Is A Hybrid

My Dogsled Is A Hybrid is a slightly dusty sea green. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Can’t Afjord Not To

Can’t Afjord Not To is a vibrant tangerine orange creme. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Do You Have This Color In Stock-holm?

I am in LOVE with this purple!! Do You Have This Color In Stock-holm? is a vibrant slight blurple creme. It’s a touch more purple in person, but still incredibly beautiful. I used 2 coats for these photos.

My Voice Is A Little Norse

My Voice Is A Little Norse is the only glitter in the collection. This is a clear base with small silver holographic square glitters. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and 2 coats of top coat to smooth it out.

My Voice Is A Little Norse over Do You Have This Color In Stock-holm?

I wanted to show My Voice Is A Little Norse as a glitter top coat too. You can wear it on it’s own or over another shade. I love this combo! This is 1 coat of My Voice Is A Little Norse over Do You Have This Color In Stock-holm?

Going My Way Or Norway?

Going My Way Or Norway is a light camel creme. I used 2 coats for these photos.

How Great Is You Dane?

How Great Is Your Dane? is a coffee brown with a tinge of olive green. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Ice-Bergers & Fries

Ice-Bergers & Fries is a medium caramel brown. I used 2 coats for these photos.

OPI With A Nice Finn-ish

OPI With A Nice Finn-ish is a slightly metallic bronzey gold. I used 3 thin coats for these photos. Slight brush strokes were visible with application.

Skating On Thin Ice-Land

Skating On Thin Ice-Land is a deep black cherry creme. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Suzi Has A Swede Tooth

Suzi Has A Swede Tooth is a strawberry pink creme. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Thank Glogg It’s Friday!

Thank Glogg It’s Friday is a berry wine shade with a subtle shimmer within. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.

Viking In A Vinter Vonderland

Viking In A Vinter Vonderland is an incredibly deep purple creme. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Overview

This is a great collection for Fall and I do love that they sprinkled some brighter shades in with the deep purples and browns. I had no application issues with any of these cremes and the glitter applied beautifully both by itself and over a creme.

I haven't been so excited for an OPI collection in a long time. I like all of them except the lighter browns but I definitely will be pre ordering them. Thanks for the great review

I'm not a huge fan of brown polish in general - but the other shades are great!

As am I! I was surprised they all had great formulas, usually you can find 1 or 2 watery or goopy ones, but not in this collection

Yeah I know! I had to double check which collection this was for, and when I saw Fall I was half excited and half "aww" because I'm not ready to let go of brights yet!

Wow that is a lot of shades to choose from and I really liked them all. I am partial to the purples and the lone glitter. =)

Oh My Glogg.... wow, these cremes and shimmers are amazing. I don't need the metallic one. I may or may not need the glitter. But so many awesome colors in this collection! Great swatches.

Sometimes it's hard to be groundbreaking with cremes. Most are slightly different than other colors I have, but I do see what you mean
