Last night I showed you the new OPI Fall 2014 Nordic Collection, and today I have the Mustang Collection for you.

For this collection OPI teamed up with Ford to celebrate Mustang’s 50th Anniversary.  This is a Limited Edition 6 piece collection that released this month, so you should be able to find them!

Race Red

Race Red is the collections “hero shade” and is a tribute to one of Mustang’s most iconic colors.  Race Red is a red orange creme.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Angel With A Leadfoot

Angel With A Leadfoot is a clean, crisp white creme.  Application was decent with this shade, but I did need 3 coats to even it out as 2 coats were a little streaky.  It is a very nice, clean white though.

50 Years Of Style

50 Years Of Style is a gold metallic creme.  Minor brush strokes are visible when it dries.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Queen Of The Road

Queen Of The Road is a black creme with fine silver shimmer throughout it.  Definitely a nice change from a black creme polish.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Girls Love Ponies

Girls Love Ponies is a nice rosy pink creme.  It was described by OPI as a hot pink, but I honestly don’t see it in a “hot pink” category.  It is a pretty shade though and application was flawless on it.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

The Sky’s My Limit

I saved my favorite for last!  The Sky’s My Limit is a beautiful metallic blue base packed with green shimmer.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Overview

While several of these shades are definitely “classic” I would definitely have to say The Sky’s My Limit is my favorite of the whole set.  A few of the colors look like other OPI’s in my collection, but the shades are really great in application and most are pretty classic Mustang shades, which make them fitting for the collection overall.

I think this is a fun theme :) I know Angel with a Lead Foot was a little bit of work, but omg your swatches make it look like the perfect white!

If you can deal with 3 coats, it really is a crisp, pure, gorgeous white!

Both are beautiful! I originally thought Queen of the Road was going to be a black creme, so I was pleasantly surprised they spruced it up a bit

I like The Sky's My Limit the best, but Queen Of The Road is pretty nice, too. I have to admit, I kinda want at least one just for the fun detail on the cap!
