Happy Sunday! I have a lot to get done today, but I really want to show you the OPI Limited Edition Hello Flamingo Collection. There are only really 2 shades in this collection that are Limited Edition, but the collection itself is 6 shades. 4 are repromotes from previous collections, but just as gorgeous.
Unfortunately, these are from CosmoProf which is a Pro Only store (you need a cosmetology license to purchase there) so these are hard to get a hold of unless you know someone.
Lets take a look at the 2 Limited Edition shades, then we will take a look at the 4 repromotes.
OPI Flamingo Tini Pink
Flamingo Tini Pink is a perfect bubblegum pink. I had absolutely no issues with application and it literally glided on the nail with no cuticle pooling, streaks or anything. I used 2 coats and a top coat for these photos.
OPI Feel The Mo-heat-oes Green
Feel The Mo-heat-oes Green is a pastel like mint green. I used 2 coats for these photos and it’s gorgeous. Again, perfect application and the main reason I needed this whole collection.
OPI Alpine Snow
Alpine Snow is a crisp, clean white creme. I used 3 thin coats for these photos. The first 2 coats looked a little streaky, but the third smoothed the look out perfectly. Alpine Snow is a shade found in the OPI core line as a classic color. I actually own 4 bottles of this now.
OPI No Room For The Blues
OPI No Room For The Blues is a perfect medium bright blue. I used 2 coats for these photos. I first saw this shade in the 2009 Bright Pair Collection.
OPI Pink Flamenco
OPI Pink Flameco was part of the 2009 Espana Collection and is a vibrant medium fuchsia. I used 2 coats for these photos.
OPI You’re Such a Budapest
OPI You’re Such A Budapest debuted in the 2013 Euro Centrale Collection and was one of my favorites from that collection. This is a beautiful lilac with a very subtle touch of shimmer. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Overview
I do find this to be a gorgeous collection where OPI not only introduced 2 limited edition shades, but brought in 4 shades that go well with it. All of the shades had perfect application and it’s a great start for Summer. The 2 limited edition shades are only available through CosmoProf which is unfortunate for those without the license to shop there. I have seen some on Ebay, so if you go that route, be careful and READ FEEDBACK! I cannot stress that enough as there are too many people selling fakes on there, but there are also some who actually sell real, legitimate OPI and other cosmetics.
