Ok it’s getting a little late and the boyfriend is side eyeing me as I type this… but tonight I have the OPI Coca-Cola Collection to show you!
All 9 shades within the collection are inspired by a Coca-Cola product.
Ready to see some swatches?
OPI Coca-Cola Red
Inspired by Classic Coca-Cola
OPI Coca-Cola Red is an orange toned red creme. Easy, smooth application. I used 2 coats for these photos.
OPI Get Cherried Away
Inspired by Cherry Coke
Get Cherried Away is a dusty reddish toned violet creme. This was a thinner polish, but I didn’t experience any cuticle pooling, but I did make sure to wipe quite a bit of polish off the brush to make sure I avoided it just in case. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
OPI You’re So Vain-illa
Inspired by Vanilla Coke
OPI You’re So Vain-illa is a pale yellowy beige shade. I used 3 thin coats for these photos. Very slight self leveling problem with it. It wasn’t horrid, but you can see in the photos that I did have a small issue with it.
OPI Sorry I’m Fizzy Today
Inspired by Vanilla Coke
My Press Release info stated that this shade was inspired by Vanilla Coke and I’m not sure the connection with the color, or if the Press Release had a typo? It is a pretty pinky coral creme though! I used 3 thin coats for these photos. The first 2 coats had slight streaking and bald spots, but the third coat evened it out.
OPI My Signature Is “DC”
Inspired by Diet Coke
OPI My Signature Is “DC” is a silver foil metallic shade. I used 2 coats for these photos. I really loved this shade! Easy application, and I didn’t use top coat for this either.
OPI Today I Accomplished Zero
Inspired by Coke Zero
My current drink of choice (next to coffee of course). OPI Today I Accomplished Zero is a black jelly base with coppery red glitters within. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos, but if you want a completely smooth manicure, I would recommend a second coat of top coat. It wasn’t gritty or incredibly bumpy, but the base is thinner than the glitters, so they are raised a smidgen.
OPI A Grape Affair
Inspired by Fanta Grape
OPI A Grape Affair is a deep purple creme. I used 2 coats for these photos. Application was perfect with A Grape Affair!
OPI Orange You Fantastic!
OPI Orange You Fantastic! is a sheer yellowy orange jelly base with a mix of orange, gold and silver glitters. I used 1 coat over You’re So Vain-illa.
OPI Green On The Runway
Inspired by Sprite
OPI Green On The Runway was the one that caught my eye in the Press Release, and in the bottle… and it didn’t disappoint me on the nail either. This is hands down my favorite of the 9 shades! Green On The Runway is a green to brown multi chrome. I used 2 coats for these photos and a glossy top coat. You can see the shift in this polish in the next 3 photos.
Overview
Overall I do like this collection. All 9 shades are based on Coca-Cola products and the only one that I didn’t get was Sorry I’m Fizzy Today. The color schemes of the rest made some sense to me, but I did like the shade nonetheless. My favorite was Green On The Runway! Two shades gave me some application issues while the rest applied without an issue at all.
